UPDATE: I was so depressed and disheartened by my career choice so I decided not to study this subject. And now I'm pursuing MCA in a central university, hopefully I will get a good placement.

You have to have eagerness in this field if you want to be here!Just think what if our country doesn't have Bharat Biotech and Serum Institute....Half of the population were wiped out from our country!Don't see everything just from the money aspect,If you have some interest you can surely go into it!

Hi sir.. I had also taken bsc biotech but now after studying FY I'm confused as I don't see a good scope in this feild also my teachers asked me to leave biotech and do another course as this isn't worth if not going to abroad

MSc botany , u can get lecture job as it is a regular course .

@@knowaround9700 let's see if u can do M.sc in botany , then u have more opportunity to get a stable job with good salary . Junior lecture post coming every year or instead of doing MSc u can go for B.Ed. But M.sc biotechnology is having very less opportunities in India itself , better u can go MBA or MCA if u really want to join in corporate sector.
