Your videos of NYC are the best! I love them! I was born in NYC and lived in Astoria in Queens and we have the beautiful Astoria Park on the East river on Shore Boulevard. Do a video of Astoria Park and Queens if you can. Thank you for the wonderful work you do!
I've never been to Astoria Park (honestly, outside of the airports, I hardly ever go to Queens at all). The way you describe it, it sounds beautiful! We'll have to add that to our list of things to do when we get back. Thanks! -Brian
Yay! I'm visiting NYC this December 2019 and I will be visiting Central Park. I hope it snows a lot so I can enjoy it! This is one of the most enjoyable videos I've seen; it's fun to watch.
Thank you so much for the compliment. You just made my day. :) Have fun visiting in December! Christmastime is such a magical time to visit New York. It's absolutely electric. I've got a video on Christmas Trees in New York and pop-up shops, so definitely check those out as well. -Brian
Thank you so much! We love Switzerland too. We went on a road trip through your country and absolutely loved it! Hopefully you can come visit Central Park some time as well. Have a great day! -Brian
The carousel is still there, and still in operation. It's just a minute walk from the Chess & Checkers house, so you were definitely thinking of the right place.
Thank you so much, Abriansyah! (Your name has "brian" in it!) Welcome to the family! We love Indonesia. We've been to Bali and absolutely loved it. Can't wait to explore more of your beautiful country! -Brian
I live in a warm country. Are there places in NYC where we could rent snow clothes so we don't have to buy clothes that we might be using only for a snow trip?
I did a quick search for you and didn't find anything. You could maybe try calling the REI on Bleeker. If snow is in your forecast, your best bet would be going thrift or second hand for warm clothes to bring with you. If you need to purchase while you're there, I would recommend the Japanese brand Uniqlo. There are locations all around NYC and they are very reasonably priced, warm, great for travel, and high quality. In the end, getting some affordable winter wear would be similar in price to renting for a few days.
Very nice tour. We too ❤️ Central Park, who couldn’t love it? How far do you think you walked to show the entire park all inclusive? Next blizzard come on down to West coastal FL & we’ll tour Honeymoon Island in winter. Take good care.
The entire Park is 2.5 miles from top to bottom and about .5 miles across. I'd say with all the zig-zagging across the Park, I probably walked about 6 miles each day. (My step counter for those days says 12.0 miles and 11.3 miles for the days I filmed this - 27k and 25k steps - but that includes everything I did before and after exploring the Park.) Honeymoon Island sounds warm and amazing! We'll definitely put it on our list. -Brian
Brian, Honeymoon Island is warm and amazing! And it’s only a short drive to Yankees Spring Training facilities if you are a baseball fan (hat)...Spring, new baby & perfect weather 🤔 Let me know if you(s) visit our little paradise.
I love the Yankees! All my family is from the Bronx, so I've been a Yankees fan since birth. :) We'll definitely let you know when we get down to your neck of the woods. Thanks for the invite! -Brian
I did indeed. I have some waterproof hiking boots and some wool socks, and those two things combined let me stomp through snow all day long and my toes stay nice and toasty. :) -Brian
Oh wow! It's colder than that in New York right now. That shouldn't be right. My wife is from Alaska and over the past 10 years I've been visiting a glacier and every year it gets smaller and smaller. :(
Haha, yes. She'll come in for a short walk with hot chocolate through the Park, but definitely not for spending 4 or 5 hours straight, 2 days in a row. She did bundle up and play outside in our neighborhood though - just to experience the blizzard and get some exercise. -Brian
Not in the park. Most hardware stores have them to buy, or check out Modell's. Or if you're in the outer boroughs, stop in Target to buy a sled. -Brian
Weather in the City can vary greatly-one year we had snow in the beginning of October! I would recommend just keeping an eye on the weather a week or two before you go, but typically November is quite nice. Sweater weather and coat weather, but not bone-chilling cold. I like to layer when travelling too so I can be ready with whatever kind of weather hits. Getting around NYC can be nice too because so much of the travel is underground :) -Isa
Brian, is it OK to show your WINTER IN CENTRAL PARK on my coach bus trip to NYC, December 12-14, 2018? We are coming to NYC from West Virginia and Western Maryland and I want to encourage everyone to visit Central Park! Clint - Broadway 20 Theater Group
Home alone ... where are you Kevin..? You mom is looking for you. Well guys. I like this video.. and have an early Blessed Christmas 🎼🎼🎼🎼🎵🎄🙂 From Malaysia 😎

Your video editing skills are very good, you will go far with RUclips!
Thank you so much for the compliment! I really appreciate it. :) -Brian
That round building with the games looks like what used to be where they had a carousel, which was quite historic so I'm sorry to see it gone.
The carousel is still there, and still in operation. It's just a minute walk from the Chess & Checkers house, so you were definitely thinking of the right place.
Love your videos! I hope I can visit New York soon. Btw you just got a new subscriber, greetings from Indonesia🙏

It's so much better in real life than I can put into these videos. I love living here! -Brian
Rebecca Jean he’s true I live there
Central park looks like a winter wonderland. It's my favourite place in Manhattan.
Same here. In every season, it's my favorite place to escape to. -Brian
Awesome video again dude!
Thanks so much David! Glad you liked it. I've got one more Central Park video coming up next. :) Stay tuned! -Brian
Awesome :)
Today I was in Brooklyn's Prospect Park which in my opinion is also a nice second option to the wonderful NYC Central Park
I really need to explore Prospect Park. I've only been there once or twice and I know there is so much to do out there!
NYC is Paradise
😍😘😘🗽
Totally agree.

Nice video
Thank you! :)
Love your videos! Did you actually walk through the snow the entire time to get around?
I did indeed. I have some waterproof hiking boots and some wool socks, and those two things combined let me stomp through snow all day long and my toes stay nice and toasty. :) -Brian
Oh, want to be there
Yes! Just wear a lot of layers. It's coooold right now. -Brian
Perfect Little Planet I live in sweden, it used to be that cold, but the climate change has affected us so it's like 33°F were I live 😥
Oh wow! It's colder than that in New York right now. That shouldn't be right. My wife is from Alaska and over the past 10 years I've been visiting a glacier and every year it gets smaller and smaller. :(
To cold for Isa?... Great vid. as usual....

Is there a place to rent the sleds?
Not in the park. Most hardware stores have them to buy, or check out Modell's. Or if you're in the outer boroughs, stop in Target to buy a sled. -Brian
What is the weather like in November? I'm visiting from Texas and am greatly nervous about the weather

Thank you so much Wendy! Merry Christmas to you too. :)
Central Park is like a wonderland in the winter unless Hary and Marv are there, then run the other way!
Hahaha, yes. Definitely steer clear of them! Thanks for the tip! :) -Brian
EU desejo me casar no Central Park. Eu amo NY
Central Park é um ótimo lugar para se casar. Eu acho que o Conservatory Garden seria um ótimo lugar. Tão lindo!
@@PerfectLittlePlanet Só preciso de um noivo....kkkk Mas realizarei esse desejo.
So pretty in the winter....
Agreed! Especially right after a snow fall! -Isa
👌👌👌👌👌
Thank you!
The only thing that scared us out of the park is seeing trump's name on anything. He's a traitor. Beautiful film.
Yeah, it's unfortunate. :(
There is too much of you in this video and not enough of park.
That's fair. I do talk a lot in this one. If you want more Central Park, check out my playlist of 12 videos in the park: ruclips.net/p/PLqUGFHMGYjkcm0gJ8ZcaM_yoAOog3oB92
