Definitely very dangerous. I had thought that all lighthouses were now automated and unmanned, but a quick search found an article about this which stated there are still a few manned lighthouses, which are not automated for various reasons.
That’s just crazy! I liked to know how in the heck did they build that lighthouse there in the first place with such rough waters must have been very hard to build it maybe the water is calmer at another time in the year.

Its a nice job if u want to have a lot of free time to read books, make drawings and solve mathematics in solitude. The lonliness and the absolute absense of anything and anyone else is going to make ur brain reach zenith levels of imagination.
If there was internet service accesible in that area there would not be necessity for Lighthouse or a lighthouse keeper to begin with. Lighthouse could be manageable remotely through Internet.

At a certain time each year the tides in that region of France are super low and it gives them a small time window to build/maintain them
