I just cant get over the majesty that is the woods in which this course lies. I could easily eat, sleep and breathe that land without even having a disc. Just flat out gorgeous!

I'm definitely nowhere near a pro level but I've been watching more and more discgolf tournaments and trying to get better myself playing with friends. Loving the production and the videos, keep it up!

This course looks absolutely stunning, with mind-boggling amounts of work gone into it - and very beautiful, too. As a course designer and installer, my hat is off to the crew who gave themselves to creating this course, and protecting so many trees. It's so nice to see the ultra-long view, and protect trees long before they get wrecked.

I really think there should be at least a month of European events that are THE events for all the top players in the world to play, with the biggest cash payouts and pro tour points.

They should be able to fix that.
EU events wont beat USDGC or tour finale in cash prize for many years. There simply isnt market for it yet

Great performance by Paul. I have to wonder if maybe Niklas was battling a bit of a health issue on the front nine. And....what a great looking trophy! My word it puts to shame most of the examples I've seen. Nice job all around Sweden!

Why are the European courses so much better than the American ones?
Higher difficulty level.
I'd much much much much much much much rather watch these euro courses. I find myself actually watching the full round recaps as opposed to only watching the round highlights like with the most of the tournaments in the US.
I mean almost everything in Sweden is better than our US counterpart. True for a lot of other European countries. Every country on earth has problems but theirs are so much better off than ours.
I think it is because they are less often located on a golf course
There are many great courses in the U.S. that are on par with any in the world, but I certainly agree that some of the courses where major tournaments are held, don't measure up anymore. I think the PDGA and the DGPT need to re-evaluate some of the courses they use for tour events. Both course design and player ability have passed by some of the historically venerated venues.

Niklas tried going over the top on hole #3 all 3 rounds. Every time it came up short and rolled backwards. He can throw down the middle no problem and it definitely cost him strokes and possibly the win.

all this does is make me want to travel to play the euro tour courses even more. Bring on the disc golf.

Great job but several times shots were not recorded and there was no reference made. For instance McBeth's up shot on #12.

Looks like Paul is really enjoying his European tour. Kinda wish some more pros from US would have come as well. Courses have been awesome so far, definitely beating the wide open golf we are seeing in US right now.

Wish they showed when they shake the chains on star frames love watching for that aspect of the game
These are the courses i like watching! Yeah it's pretty cool to see 600' throws in the wide open... but to watch a player navigate a 300' hole with a gaps that are at best 10' and 150' down the fairway is so much better!

There should be a PDGA World Tour! The sport is groving fast. So many great European wooded courses mixed in with the more open US ones would be a great thing to watch. Jomez, MDG and Gatekeeper could work together and make some awesome coverages. Do it!

Wonderful commentary guys! That hole 18 has too high a luck factor for my liking - not even a safe par bailout off the tee
I think I agree. There is a point where making a hole more difficult bleeds into making it a luck fest. I would argue that pushing the OB back a bit would improve 18. Niklas probably didn't deserve OB on that final hole.
Are you allowed to play with gloves in competitions? I mean I have some Hestra working gloves that grips like glue when wet. Just curious.

For people who have played on Sweden. Is this one of the hardest courses? Who is the designer of the course? Pretty interesting.
I would say that it’s one of the harder courses in Sweden. We have a few that have longer and harder holes but this one is up there considering the amount of wooded holes with tight gaps.
Ale Discgolf White Course is a course close by that is awesome as well.
McBeth on last hole, the wind did not lift it in, barley any wind at that time

There are two main tours in Europe! Euro Tour and European Pro Tour!
