That's where Rody comes in to pull the weight of the live show. He is an excellent frontman with tons of personality and he always does good job getting the crowd involved.
I hope you don't think I dislike you. I like everyone😊 But I have time to waste since work was cancelled and I figured what better way to waste that time than to check out the page of the person who wasted time commenting on a post on my page? It's only right that I return the favor. I think I'm done for now...
Shay Ruddick That's skill. Talent is what you're born with. Skill is what takes hours of practice. I think that Luke is talented because writing leads like that takes a certain ear but he's definitely skilled when it comes to playing, not talented.
You still need to develope your talent by practicing though. No matter how much natural talent you have your not just gonna blow everyone away with your amazing guitar skills the first time you pick one up.
SAS them yesterday in Hamburg and HOLY SHIT they were more than Amazing !!! I listen to metal for over 20 years now and they are definitely in my top 10 live Acts I've Seen over all these years!
Through my experience the majority of people who listen to PTH where the people I described in my previous post, but I've gotten a fair amount of comments like yours so that's kind of made me feel better haha
@TheHoodieNinja He almost always plays the exact same Ibanez. It's one that was at like NAMM or something a few years ago and never went into production. A friend of his who worked for Ibanez gave it to him, so for one thing, it's one of a kind and he says it the most comfortable guitar he's ever played.
They were at Copenhell Open Air metal festival in Copenhagen 2011, so they clearly also appeal to a metal crowd as well. I really don't like the whole post hard/metalcore scene going on, but I'm a diehard metalfan and love these guys :)
@ConvictJones Actually Moe often uses a click track to keep time, so if anyone's getting of beat it would be everyone else, its just that the drums are the most prevalent when listening
It's because they have a huge hardcore punk influence, which was at least far more prevalent in Kezia. But I agree with you, PTH is a progressive band, and a fucking brilliant one at that.
2:55 THE GUY ROWING IN THE PIT
One of the best bassists I've ever seen... far out man...
Hands down best bassist in the world in my eyes
Was just thinking the same, those vocals too wtf is he related to serj ?
100%, he grooves hard as fuck. excellent live
2:56 Dude's just like "Fuck it I'm rowing"
LMFAOat 0:52 the dude in the green shirt "we are......" sounded so enthusiastic
Vocals: Renly of House Baratheon
Lead Guitar: Rast of The Night's Watch
One of the few bands that write absurd fucking songs and can actually play them live.
We need to acknowledge how much moe does with that tiny fucking drum kit
it's AWESOME how Moe can rock THE SHIT out of a 4 pc drum kit
i still cannot get over how clean they are live
The guy rowing the boat in the pit is my hero
That's where Rody comes in to pull the weight of the live show. He is an excellent frontman with tons of personality and he always does good job getting the crowd involved.
Luke hoskin.. Not only originally writing the insane guitar leads..
To play them with such skill..
Such a virtuoso.. So talented
I disagree. That's not talent. There's insane amounts of practice that's gone into getting that good.
Johan Lundström
Talent takes practice though.

this song is called bloodcum
And next song I Cum Blood
SAS them yesterday in Hamburg and HOLY SHIT they were more than Amazing !!! I listen to metal for over 20 years now and they are definitely in my top 10 live Acts I've Seen over all these years!
Yeah so arif was flawless on both songs unbelievable
Man it's a shame the crowd was so lame at this show. These guys are one of the most talented bands out there at the moment.
i love the drummer. such a small kit for a metal drummer but it sounds amazing
"boo, bring A Day To Remember, i wanna dance like a ninja primadonna"
worst crowd ever. kickass band.
ZOMG, Luke's playing is amazing, he's definately my guitar idol.
pretty amazing video! the quality is beyond any live video out there!
Love how the drummer just plays a little 4 piece kit.... And shreds it.....
"Thank you, This song's called Bloodcum" hahaha Rody
6:56 people watching from the window like "wtf is this?!"
That Chocolate Rain riff gets me every time
These guys really are one of the best metal bands...ever! I just hope it never gets to their heads...I wish they'd cover some RUSH....please!
Whitby, Ontario representing!
+IknowNothingAboutHockey Fuckin' right!
IknowNothingAboutHockey fuck the maple leafs
I just love Arif. He's just chilling and playing. :)
nice music, nice shot and nice shirt ...
holy crap! watching this on HD made my day
i saw them a few months ago and the crowd was awesome for them, they headlined the tour so that helped
Did he switch it to we will crush them all like germans?
Love to see letlive your with these guys.
that would be an awesome show
CLEEEAN double bass sound :) moe is such a beast!
The reverb is killing it for me here...
What Rody said in the end: "We're Protest the Hero from Canada"
What that crowd heard: "We're (insert name here) from unimportant"
Arif's face at 5:54 "Oh what. You can't play this? I recorded this part in my sleep!"
You can definitely tell the one guitarist is a death fan
this must be so hard to do live. every instrument and vocals :D
dannnnggg theyre playin this wothout in ears
Arif is a legend
the guy rowing the boat deserves a cookie
Awesomeeeeeeeeeee.. i like it all
this guys should have the world tour!!
Awesome video!
Im going exatly NOW!
Why, what a positively polite pit! I love it!
We need more bands like protest the hero.
>Implying there's such thing as straight hardcore dancing
How can that crowd be dead fish. I'd be thrashing. So good.
I remember ♥
we will crush them all, LIKE GERMAAAAAAANSS!
Sick!! I wish they had more footage of Arif though...his bass playing is unreal!
wow thanx!!!!
they have a shirt on their page that says "never judge a band by its audience" so i think they share your view as do i
i just love you
I swear it’s either the drummer getting zero love from the camera or the bass player loool
That was two years ago. If they play again on the same place, I bet the crowd will be maybe ten times bigger that the one on the video.
4:11 you can see on Rody's face he's thinking "wow this crowd sucks"
they played in my town and they were surprisingly happy to be there, because it wasn't a shitty crowd...
Rody is such a sir.
If I had been in that mosh pit, I would have been ballroom dancing. It was that relaxed.
I've seen them 3 times now, and every time has been nearly flawless. But I agree, never seen a good video of them.
Through my experience the majority of people who listen to PTH where the people I described in my previous post, but I've gotten a fair amount of comments like yours so that's kind of made me feel better haha
ok tim, this is our official petition to GROW BACK THE FUCKIN BEARD! thumbs up now.
@TheHoodieNinja

HAHAHA "This songs called Bloodcum" xD
Rody was a fucking beast there, he frakin nailed it
It's the rower! He's my favorite.
"We will crush them all like Germans."
Fuckin brilliant lol idk how I didnt catch that
Heh, people attempting to rock out to PTH and getting lost at all the time shifts. Takes a special sort of headbanging to pull it off. :P
Luke should totally sing a song. He has a great voice.
They were at Copenhell Open Air metal festival in Copenhagen 2011, so they clearly also appeal to a metal crowd as well. I really don't like the whole post hard/metalcore scene going on, but I'm a diehard metalfan and love these guys :)
Agreed. The mosh pit was brutal when i went to see them. Still pent half the gig in there though :D
they sounded wayyy better when i`ve seen them live
Ambitious films? great DSLR footage =D
where? that sounds awesome
dude this band is amazing! ive been a fan since i saw them on mtv2 haha :)
these guys would love the southamerican crowd, the place will explote
We are!
They really are. They came to my town with The Fall of Troy once and I was all psyched up to go and the crowd was fucking douchers.
I seriously didn't know they were from Canada. It makes me like them more
Luk is doing what i wanna do in my life.
0:52 was just so nonchalant haha
Well try 1:07 then! LOL
man Rody's having a hard time..and Tim is a new man.
moe is flawless!
@ConvictJones
Actually Moe often uses a click track to keep time, so if anyone's getting of beat it would be everyone else, its just that the drums are the most prevalent when listening
クオリティ最強
riff is so dank on the bass
It's because they have a huge hardcore punk influence, which was at least far more prevalent in Kezia. But I agree with you, PTH is a progressive band, and a fucking brilliant one at that.
Seeing them with Escape The Fate and Underoath in 16 days!
is that the same drummer with reggae blonde dreads on sthrone music vid? :))
My backyard one day back in da day bruz!!!!
2:55 😂😂😂

Fairly sure that Paul from Between The Buried and Me is in the front row singing along at 6:36

5:04, is what you call perfection! :)
Rody sounds awesome! and tim looks good without his beard :P
