Wasn’t a big LFG fan in the past, didn’t hate him but didn’t watch his content that much even now, he definitely gain my respect after that fishing challenge he did with 1rod where they were trying to fish for carp and the fish stuck in the grass. Taking his pants off and going into the murky water to get a fish is a 1rod thing, but LFG show that he is a good sport and team player who don’t care about his image, I do not see anybody else in the original googan who would be willing to do that and match the same energy as mike to keep the vibe positive beside LFG, definitely the best googan hands down, well-season, respected, get along with everyone regardless of ages.
Funny, I find LFG to be the best one. He and Jon B. are my two favorite channels to watch. The straight up Googan stuff I do not watch nearly as much as the aforementioned.
I was a big fan of his until he came to my country, about 45 min from my house and did a video or 2 on a lake near my house. That was cool BUT he totally fished at least 2 weeks out of season. Made me lose respect for him as a sportsman for sure. You wanna fish outta season do it your back yard not mine! No one else can why should he, then he makes money off it by posting the vids. Just my opinion, not like it matters.
How do you fish out of season with warden problems lfg wouldn’t fish illegally you sound pissed because he probably caught a bigger fish than you

Y'all should ride over to Santee Cooper to go fishing for catfish. Check out Canal Lakes there. They have a great little Restaurant there as well with great country cooking.
Cut the head off and skin the little ones for a gravy. Filets seasoned, buttered, and onions wrapped in foil. 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Can't beat it.
Blues are Bottom feeders. Belly meat tastes different. Flathead eat live bait, bellies are awesome tasting.
I worked at a fish camp in high school and everyone always requested salt and pepper catfish but they wanted small ones. Like 7” small ones, try the smaller ones next time. Cut the head off gut them and cook them whole.

When u are trying to catch perch with a cast net move it slowly as it closes don’t yank it and you will get more because they try to swim down

Been telling people for years to get your cooking stuff from the camping section in Walmart. Pans are less than 1/2 the price and they're normally better built bans.
Flathead belly meat is where its at. The filet mignon of the river. Blues amd channels have iffy belly meat at best.

OMG! There are only 2 ways to cook good catfish, and that is on the outdoor grill or deep fried with baked tater, slaw, and hush puppies. If you have never had smoked catfish, you are missing out! Smoked mullet is good, too. I could not believe my eyes when I seen yall put that catfish in the oven. Shame on you, LOL
