I have all the supplies listed as a perk when you sign up to become a Createful Art Member www.createfulart.com/createful-christmas.html However you can see what I use for supplies here: www.createfulart.com/art-supplies.html and it looks like I used titanium white and a mix of that with the yellow and blue in the set I recommend for the background. White on top with some yellow and gold if you have it.
They are called canvas panels. At Hobby Lobby they are in the section with all the canvases. I think they come in packs of six or something there. Last time I went they were out so I had to buy normal canvases which were on sale so they were very close in price.
Of course, metallic paints will work and that will be very pretty too. I'm not sure what colors of paint you have to choose from to mix for purple, so I would watch my mixing colors video to help you see what colors would create the purple and violet you want: www.createfulart.com/create/how-to-mix-paint-colors-and-get-the-correct-color-every-time You will find as you mix your colors that blues and reds mix to create purples and violet. 💗
