I grew up with doctor who, it was inventive, chilling and exciting. I am old enough to recall William Hartnell, patrick Traighton, john Pertwee, and Tom Baker. They were my favourites. I was glued to the screen. It engendered ideas and encouraged me to read. All gone now.
Rafe Mankoo should be in the Government. UK need really smart leaders & MPs who are patriotic first. And put the interest of the UK Citizens first above illegals & freeloaders .

Civil servants were NOT voted into government. They should do the job they are paid very well to do and keep their beaks out of the countries politics. If they won’t follow instruction on their jobs they should be sacked.
Migration Watch did a brilliant paper around 10 years ago that showed dependency on benefits, social housing and size of families based on country of origin. It was so embarrassing to the powers that be that those statistics were not recorded afterwards

Watched Dr. Who since the very first episode (in black and white) but stopped watching it when he became a woman. Have zero interest in it now. Still occasionally watch my old VHS tapes to enjoy the early days of the show.

Civil Servants withholding what they perceive as “sensitive racial data” regarding crime statistics is as old as the hills. Can’t say too much but in my tenure as a Consultant to the largest British establishment responsible for Home Affairs, I witnessed this at first hand while being involved with an (Annual) edition of the British Crime Survey.
As an outsider, during a briefing meeting prior to the creation of the then current publication, I questioned various statistics and asked why the ethnicity of miscreants for all,categories was not itemised as every official form I’ve ever completed wanted to know this in explicit detail so the data is available. It was like walking into a wild west bar, the atmosphere changed instantly, as if I had stood up and started singing Rule Britannia, I kept my mouth shut from then on.
Okay, okay Rafe, I'm an OAP but didn't enjoy either of the Dr Who episodes. Bring back William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton! Oh and David Tennant...

It would be fascinating to know the statistics for sexual assault by ethnicity/religion/immigration status. As Ayaan Hirsi Ali points out in her book Prey - about the negative effect migrants from Muslim countries are having on European women's and girls' rights and safety - so many countries refuse to collect this data, or, if they do, refuse to release it. We all 'know' what the stats will show, which is precisely why the civil service want to hide it. It's the same reason that attempts were made by the authorities to cover up the Grooming Gangs scandal.
