Assembled mine today. Was surprisingly easy.
Once you've got that zip about half way round, get your helper to really pull on that Thai Clinch, and shove his knee into the side. Then it zips shut instantly with minimal effort.
Much like other century instruction videos the reality is a lot more difficult even with 2 people. Some tips from someone who just installed: attach a zip tie around the zipper to hep you pull, this will give you a lot more leverage to actually zip around the base. Instead of kneeing the body, lay it on the floor and tilt it up the get the last little bit. Making sure to tuck the foam in.
It's good that it's so stiff but it's going to be 100% harder than these guys make it look with a specially broken in model
Thanks bud! That got me a lot further :)
Great tips!
I wish I knew this a couple of months ago when I got the Bob. Well, this is next on my list. Looks great.
Question? Did your versys bob come with the nylon sand bags described in the video. Mine did not have any nylon sand bags to fill with sand. The video seems to indicate the nylon sand bags came with it. Please respond.
The middle dont lock or screw on?? So if the zipper goes it's in bits.... kinder surprises me. Whats the warranty?
I believe the warranty is duct tape.
I was considering buying this but after I realize that the zipper is the only thing that holding the top to the bottom I am going to pass on this one
I bought one 8 months ago, absolutely love it! But pay attention to this video and don’t try to put it together on your own. I had to wrestle it like Nurmagomedov wrestled that bear to close that zipper. But than again, i didn’t have that background music eighter..
How’s the quality after 8-9 months of use? Any damage?
@@juju8470 not at all! Exactly the same as new.
@@praetorian11 Good to hear! Some people told me the legs were damaged after a few months of use and recommended the Bob XL. I want this one because it has arms.
@@juju8470 actually the arms are what gets into the way when practicing highkicks. It all depends on what you want to do with it. This one is great for simulating a person and finding the holes in defense. But for practicing highkicks an armless bob would be better.
And the people that are ripping the legs use this bob versys as a heavybag. It’s just more a target-practicing-tool.
I have all three... so no problems here. If you want something versatile, I would suggest the Bob Xl over this one because you can kick the Bob XL a lot harder.
@@praetorian11 - You can use training bands etc. to reposition the arms.
Watch this video closely or you will definitely have trouble, 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 for best self defense dummy ever!
I think everyone has a heavy bag, which
is a good thing, but when it comes to
dummies, I always wondered how you train
self defense using an armless one,
this dummy is a bit smarter than the original,
looks pretty useful.
