To be honest, as a 37 year old who lives and stays in Kuching, i never step foot into that building and i always wonder what's inside. thank u Nick for giving me this tour.
It is so sad to see the abandon building like this in Kuching. The spot itself is very strategic. Hopefully they will develop this area and make it great again. Thanks Nick for the sharing.
@ yeah, this is the first time I see the inside of the building. It does have a little bit of liminal space, the unused and still maintained part of it
I hope Roxy Hotel bosses can consider this building as the bosses are amazing turning old building into their hotels. Since Sarawak will be more & more tourism city as more international concerts coming in etc, we can provide more hotels or cafes 🙏🏼🥰 Sure this building will be alive. Only time can tell. Lets have long live so we can watch this development 😊
@@GlobalGibbon If someone like the TecTecktonic & Sons team/ROXY who spruced up the old, spooky rundown Impiana Hotel to what it is today, I'd agree. It's good you explored this type of spots with real estate potentials as I'd never bother to even give it a side glance.
In my suggestion either this can be renovated as a college or hospital, but I prefer if it’s renovated into a college. So that more sarawakians students and lecturers will find a better place for teaching and studying😁
this building project was supposed to have a twin block opposite side across the main road..and the whole project is a failure since day one… if u know, u’ll know… thats why it is in that sad state… i dont know what was the developer was thinking but yeah its a major fail… n there no way or even worth to revived that place… however, if it were to be redeveloped like knock down the building n build new, then yes.. coz the land itself has potential..but only with proper planning..
hello Guys...This Commercial centre was designed in 2001, That entire Block of Building was designed by the Consultant where i worked, and i am the Draughtsman for the Civil & Structural Building...Very sad to see the building were Unused.

Same with me.. Never having foot steps into this building.
I had the same thoughts, so I had to go in! 😅

I'm just looking at this building, thinking about this building every single time pass through the road & keep wondering what inside. Tq nick
Thanks for watching!
Hello Nick! Thank you for the tour and sharing information
Sure thing!
lived in Kuching most of my life, but never stopped at that mall, just passing by everytime I used the toll bridge
I had the same feeling, so I decided to check it out. Now we know😅

That’s a great idea! I think this building has the potential to be something special.
Its sad that a prime waterfront location is going to waste. Maybe with the ART and new development in Pending this place will become valuable again?
i heard one story..that someone saw a ‘pocong’ there at night…everyone in town knows that place is kinda haunted.. i love it…😅😊
I've only been to this building once or twice, to buy my Kadet Remaja Sekolah (KRS) uniform at that tailor shop back in my schooling days.
Aha! Memories!
I always drive past this place
Architecturally, never been a desirable looking building but an eyesore at first look.
It has some potential I think. A college, a hospital. Bit of greenery around it, I think it has potential😉

Good for clinic. Tanah Putih clinic is too fully crowded

Great idea! I agree!
Nick…next property to discover, The Rajah Court…..the ‘co-called’ resort in the city…..🤧🙄………
Aha! That’s an interesting site!!
Johor bahru too has abandoned buildings.
They’re everywhere!
I sometimes pass this building in Kuching but I saw a pale woman standing inside the building
Eeeeeeeek
Jaku2 gak ai sadung kaban😂

Good idea. But I don’t think I can go all the way up!
