People who are wondering where we can use it. This kind of proposition used in machine learning to make decisions as we can convert this type of logic into a boolean you can develop chatbots, internet bots, and simulations and solve medical problems as well if you want to further study as the whole computer science can be divided into 3 major sections 1. Computer Engineering, 2.Theoretical computer science, and Application computing, and this come under Application Computing now we can apply this concept in Robotics, Boolean Satifactibility, optimization, knowledge representation and many more, why I am writing this long comment because as a student we all need some sense of purpose to learn any topic hope this helps.
Sometimes propositional logic sounds difficult but it is very clear in your video. Thanku sir🙏 Sir please make video on first order logics in discrete mathematics
Sir I really like your videos and it has helped me through a lot of exams. Thank You so much for that!! There are some topics that you might have missed like, First Order Logic (FOL), logical agents (Inference rules like: Modus Ponens, And-Elimination), Horn Clause If you could make videos on these topics, it could be a great help to the students. Thank You
12:05 It should be Bidirectional (double implication) as it is not an "if-then" statement, it is an "if an only if" statement. You can access the internet from the campus if and only if you are a CSE student or you are not a freshman.
Hello sir... i am a big big fan of urs.. gate ka exam m sirf 1 month reh gya h.. agr aap cao ke videos ya gate k syllabus se related koi video daale to zyada helpful hoga hmare lia.. plz sir as ur videos are no 1
Hello sir thanks to your vedios...I have qualified jrf....sir please make vedio for what to do next.....PhD admission in IIT Delhi possible for MCA or not?....in which month it will be held.....other good options for persuing PhD....
Sir, in the example, "You can access internet from campus only if you are CSE student or you are not freshmen " ... P is "You can access the internet from campus" Q is "You are CSE student" R is "You are freshman" then : (Q v R) -> P P is implied by Q / R Am I correct?
Really, you are amazing...i have seen many examples of if then in Discrete Mathematics but still didn't understand truth table when we put F T = T ....but with your example now it clear my doubt...thank you so much😇
PQv~R Answer of last question as only if is written in the question If only if is written then it is the example of bidirectional so there is a symbol of bidirectional
@@saroopashree the last eqn should be P->Q\/R. Because you have declared not a freshman as R \. If you had declared A freshman as R then only you could have written p->Q\/-R
The if part (the conditional part) is actually "if you are a cse student or you are not a freshman" Even though it is written on the right side in English. In conditional logic it's the condition so it will be on the left Edit: some comments say that it's actually iff (if and only if). I'm not sure about that. In that case it wouldn't matter how you write it

Write the predicate (only the predicate) to represent the requirement: “It rain is predicted, carry an umbrella. Also, take a jacket if the temperature is below 70 Fahrenheit or below 21 celsius.”

Sir, in the final example you wrote P -> Q that is "if" condition but the sentence says only if... so doesn't that imply "iff" ie. if and only if?
Sir I really like your videos and it has helped me through a lot of exams. Thank You so much for that!!

Thank You
Sir, you explained the topic very well and thoroughly. But, it is a request to please also make a video on predicate logic.
our teacher teach us after watching your videos🙂
U make different concepts easy to understand..... salute to you sir 🙏
Best explaination ever on RUclips. Always respect++
U r the best source on RUclips to score good ❤😊
Sir I am biggest fan of you , your study's amaging 👍
Your learning technique is so nice, because easy understand every topic 🙂
Sir ji ki explanation hamesha behatarin rhti hai❤

Bhai fol ,inference etc videos dalo
.
no i think
Sir plz upload video about predicate logic..lots of luv from kerala
Hello sir....u r great ....gate k liye sir bht Kam tym h... please take some live cls or provide expected questions from algo n other subjects
Sir plz bring more videos on gate
Man u made it so simple ❤
Lots of love from Kashmir ❣️⚡

Sir, thank you for such good content! Please cover Expert Systems also. Thankyou
Today z my exm Thanku so much sir
Sir, in the example, "You can access internet from campus only if you are CSE student or you are not freshmen " ...
P is "You can access the internet from campus"
Q is "You are CSE student"
R is "You are freshman"
then : (Q v R) -> P
P is implied by Q / R Am I correct?
P -> (Q v R)
Yes, i also feels this is correct, only there will be negation of R.
No, if and only if are different.Khan academy explains it well.
Sir predicate logic ke bare me video bnaiye
I think in case of if-then it should be q-->(p v ~r)

Your all videos are too good sir
Amazing just amazing, sir. Thanks a lot.
sare doubt clear ho gye sir thanku so much
Learning this 2 hr before the exam.. But u made this easy too 🤍
12:03, shouldn't it be Q (or) ~R -> P ?

Yes it has to be (Q v ~R) -> P
@@saroopashree the last eqn should be P->Q\/R. Because you have declared not a freshman as R \. If you had declared A freshman as R then only you could have written p->Q\/-R

@@adarshveerabathini8550 no it would be bi directional

sir please explain the concept of first order logic
Thank you sir for explaining so well along with example ❤️
Thanks You Sir
Nyc teaching
Excellent explanation❤
Thank You Brother
Where are video lectures of other logic and reasoning types?? Please make videos on them.
Really super helpful brother
Gurujee shandar jabardast zindabad
Sir the might be p(q v ~r) i guess
p- you can access the internet from computer
q-you are a CSE student
r-> you are a fresherman
thanks Sir
Awesome bro.
please explain First order propositional
Jadugar ho sir app CSE ke ❤❤❤
Jadugar nahi jagdguru hai ve cse ke.
Congratulations for 2M
I think, in the last sentence, LHS and RHS should be interchanged.
Sir you are really awesome 🙏💯✨

the last eqn should be P->Q\/R. Because you have declared not a freshman as R \. If you had declared A freshman as R then only you could have written p->Q\/-R
Very important topic
Please upload videos on First order predicate logic?

shouldn't the last equation be P (QV~R)??
yes . he made a mistake there
the last eqn should be P->Q\/R. Because you have declared not a freshman as R \. If you had declared A freshman as R then only you could have written p->Q\/-R
Yes you are right.
Tq so much sir😊😥
Sir last k math mein "only if" Diya hua hain, to wahan par bidirection quin nehi use ho raha?
Write the predicate (only the predicate) to represent the requirement: “It rain is predicted, carry an umbrella. Also, take a jacket if the temperature is below 70 Fahrenheit or below 21 celsius.”
Sir can you please expain these
Sir, please upload video on predicate logic
I have one doubt only if represent both sides arrow but in the last statement you're using only one sided arrow which is only if you're CSE student
Impressive.
Sir does disjunction is represented as ^ and conjunction as V ?
I saw that in geeksforgeeks..
Conjunction will be ^ (and operation) and disjunction will be v (or operation)
7:24 that was a smart move sir😂
Thanks sir g 👍
sir we cannot feel that we takes the offline virtually class .yuor body language too much good .
amazing
Bhaiya, there is not a video of predicate logic in this series.
can you add that ?
it is stated if only so it should be (iff)
Amazing sirr y r besr
