Very easy to follow your explanation. When doing the oven explanation, use red and blue/blue black when drawing in the power supply. Will make the explanation very simple to follow. Thanks
@@appliancetech001 Thank you so much. I have been waiting for that series of different circuit diagrams for thermostats and oven selector switches for different stove models😁😁😁😁
Thanks about the encouraging feedback, its not possible to control the coiled plate with the selector switch. Selector switch(depending on type/model) requires a plate with 3 to 4 connections and a coiled plate has 2 connections.
Very informative sir keep it up good work 👏 . Sir I do have a question how do you replace solid plate with normal plates coz you find that solid plate has for line then normal has two plates
If you mean how to replace a plate with two connections with one with four connections. The one with four connections must be bridged( bridge 1&2, & 3&4), then load or live from the switch goes to 1&2and 3&4 take neutral. To do the opposite you must change switches to selector switches.
No I mean replacing four connection plate with two stove plate coz for the regulator switch and selector switch have understood, help me with that one sir. Gratitude sir for these information and knowledge you've changed 👏👏
You must replace selector switches with regulator switches. Selector switches only work with four connection plates not two and regulators work with all
If that happens immediately after changing it not few months after, it is definitely the switch. If few months after its the plate, some plate brands are not best quality
I have repaired my Defy Cooker, doing all the wiring by myself after following this video. Thank you so much.
I am very happy to hear that, thanks very much.
Great explanation, easy to understand ❤❤❤

I meant blue/black phase
Noted, and thanks very much.
Thank you for this precise video.
I want to ask, how do you now connect for the pilot light and earthing of the stove on the selector switch?
It's P2 and 5 my dear friend.

@luthandondlovu8613 I remember promising that 🤦🤣 I will make a plan
Good short and precise video. How can I replace solid plates with coiled plates on a defy stove with selector switches. Make a video if possible

This is good. It has helped me am so grateful ❤❤❤❤
I have a problem with my cooker, but the sound in your Video is very LOW. Not sure if it the video, or my Laptop !

What can cause a solid plate to have low and slow heat even after changing it
If that happens immediately after changing it not few months after, it is definitely the switch. If few months after its the plate, some plate brands are not best quality
Greetings. I'm in need of a switch exactly like the blue regulator switch in your video. Where can I buy a spare? I'm from Cape Town. Thanks
I assume you have a defy stove(be it a defy or not), just google defy service center near me. Then go to them, they sell parts
@appliancetech001 I managed and I'm all sorted. Thanks 🤙
Thank you very much
good trainer even for slow leaners
I am happy to hear that my brother, million thanks.
