There is no real "stage lighting" but since we began livestreaming, pastor always looks like he's in the shade. It's taken a few years, but I finally convinced them to let me buy a couple of ellipsoidals to light the small area where he stands. I got them today. (Baby steps) Your info will help me set them up. protestant8 I get you. But there is also larger question here. Lights have changed. Much easier to be able to change colors (for example) or direct light to specific parts of the raised platform. I guess my question is what are the rules in the modern era? Should we only use white lights and full strength? Are there limits to how many lights can be used? Do the same rules apply for special Christmas or Easter programs? I'm not trying to be sarcastic. These all seem like good questions to ask.

how about using a par lights on the stage? would you recommend LED profile lights?
