Your videos are little bit-sized miracles! In just a few minutes each video teaches more than I discovered over years! Maybe because I only go to the manual from necessity when stuck (and then I rarely find what I actually need!) - Brilliant!
Hi Sue, I am really learning a lot with your video tutorials. Question? After splitting the nodes and getting the design/shape I want can I fill in the region with a color or decorative stitch?
@@OMLembroidery Thank you! Can you please do a tutorial on how to bring in a vector file image and lettering from online for digitizing? I'm not sure on how to clean up an image for digitizing. Thank you so much!
Thanks for this video just wandering if there is also a way to join nodes.say if i have another shape that I have opened example qa heart split at the bottom point and the design you have just used open at top then manipulated the point s to line up with each other can they be joind and become a closed shape for filling? OOps Sorry just seen the topic for the next video so I expect this is answered there . doh I need to check next time before i ask a question
Hi Sue, I'm using PE design 10 and need to know how to delete satin stitch overlap on applique design as there's too many stitching outlines. thanks Elaine
Splitting nodes can help you save time - instead of starting your closed object again, split the nodes!

you may have to convert the area to blocks, or digitize a new area - it would really depend on that or if there is a closed shape left

Another box ticked!
😀
Can you do a tutorial on how to digitize a photo only to capture the outline of it ? No inside fill ? Or can this method also work ?
I have not tried that - you could manually digitize it.
Hi Sue can you do this in Wilcom e4. If so how is it done? Thanks
No, i don't think you can do node splitting in E4.
Thanks, thats sad!
