I have a theory. Grimm's are descendants or were cursed by the Zerstroer. Think about it. The only one who was able to use the stick, part of the Zerstroer's staff was Nick, it was like a magic wand a Grimm's hand. You also look and the woged side of the Zerstroer. It's a skull 💀, kinda like the symbol of the Grimm.

The one part I didn’t like is how “black claws done” really made me angry, I feel like it could have been the finale instead, after all, it’s a cop drama, so it would make since that corruption would be a better finishing than the mythology plot.
I think it’s cause they had to close up the show in season 6 so they pretty much had to close up all the stories abruptly and explain the stick somewhat.
