Finally, the house has reached its construction completion date! Today the workers came to install windows in my parents' house. All doors have been installed. The house looks more beautiful, I feel very happy and cheerful. Thank you for always accompanying me from the start of construction to the end. That is a major job! I noticed something
while they installing them and
have to mention this…Anywhere
that there were things (wood, etc)
leaning up against the house, there
Was moisture building up on the
walls. You could tell the walls
were wet..in the long run, this
will be bad for the structure.
You all worked so hard to make
this beautiful house…I hate topSee it start
to rot due to moisture.
See if everyone can return soon,
and build a shelter to move all
the leftover wood into or under
that…as apposed to having it all
up against the back wall and
the side wall. They could
even USE some of that wood
to build the storage building
to house the wood.
Just an idea Lieu. Moisture
building up on outside walls
really isn’t good.

You need to apply lime inside/outside to protect the walls from humidity. and avoid verdigris.
I would make the gentleman that put the windows in come back and fix the wall where he busted it out at , I think they could have did a better job caulking around the new windows also , it's nice to have your house finished. . looks really nice .
This is a good idea!
If they’re not sealed up
properly, the cold and
dampness will come in
and the windows won’t
last. Calking is part of the
installation…I’m pretty sure!
When I live in a house in the
woods, we had windows installed
and they were AIR TIGHT when
they completed the job.

Well done, are your parents planning to paint inside and maybe tile some of the floors later? Also, what about the outside? Some paint will seal and protect the concrete making it last longer. I like the prefab windows and doors, it was good to see the installers using caulking when they installed them, it should last a long time and help keep it comfortable inside.
