Hi Tim. Loving these tutorials! I am needing to use a one shot in a CCW program but not having much luck finding info on this. I have looked through your playlist and didn't see this topic. I would love to see this addressed if possible.
Hi Tim,good morning, we are wondering if you have a video talking about PWM for Micro 820,is there something in your channel that is talking about it? please advice, have an excellent day.
I wonder that is this method of wiring works on the Mitsubishi analog input module? by the way, the PLC controller's type is Mitsubishi FX3G-32MR-ES. Will it work?
Hi Tim, Loving the content across the broad range of Allen Bradley PLC's an software. I have a project that I have been asked to look into where two analogue inputs are to plotted against each other (force vs displacement) and displayed on a screen with option to email the results. The site currently has SLC5/05 (many input and output cards, ie centralised unit) with RSLOGIX 500 software but I am looking into using a Micro800 series on this machine with a panel view screen to show the plotted graphic. If this is something that you would be able to discuss in a video? It would be of great help. Thanks Chris
sir, i am from apollo tyres ltd. we have micro820 installed in one machine...If i upload program i could only see one line in Prog1. I could not able to see program ....Pls suggest how it can be open and make any changes???
Hi, How can we use potentiometer for on/off delay on plc ( allen bradly ) and Temprature setting also cold you please give me an example with logic diagram?
Hi Andres. Is it jumping up and down around the correct number or a completely different number. If it is around the correct number, then try shielding it. If it is a completely different number, check that your analog common and your 24V common are the same.
Great question Ricco! The Micro 800 PLCs including the Micro810, Micro820, Micro830, Micro850, and Micro870 have all of the capabilities of the Micrologix line and they are adding more features to them. If I were designing a new system, I would choose the Micro800 line.
@@TimWilborne perfect I will keep asking questions. Really appreciate the response. Im trying to scale a Pot from 0-10v and have it show on the hmi and use the output to control the speed on a powerflex523.

Hey ! You make really good and educational videos. I have a suggestion for a next video. Suppose we use 2 hydraulic cylinders. Measure the position of each cylinder with an analog instrument. The cylinders are controlled by each one propotional valve. How can we program so that we have acceleration and deacceleration? How do you program to get a master cylinder and a slave? The idea is that these cylinders should run synchronously. / F
Hi Fredrik. Great suggestions! The acceleration and deceleration are are popular request, I'm going to do them with a servo simulator. The following application is more difficult but not impossible with a standard PLC. I'll have to think about it.

Tim, you're such a valuable person; your videos have helped me so much!
I'm glad to hear it!
Such a good tutorial! Can't wait to get out into the field
You got this!
Very simplified videos and explanations
Glad you like them!
THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR
You are so welcome!

It is a little different in CCW, let me put that on the list.
Anolg input and anolg output examples of controls as well digital inputs and outputs
thx , nice video
Glad you liked it!

It doesn't have a PWM but it does have a PTO which is similar. Here is a video on the Micro820 PTO:

Yes, Ohms law is universal.

Hi, Tim, your video is very good and helpful, could you do a lesson for MOV instruction and example for this instruction?
Yes it is coming soon Anthony, thanks for watching!

Hi, How can we use potentiometer for on/off delay on plc ( allen bradly ) and Temprature setting also cold you please give me an example with logic diagram?
That would actually be a good exercise in using a potentiometer. I'll put it on the list!
Tim Wilborne that would be great, could you please include ladder diagram with come some descriptions
Sir, my question is how can I bypass this plc
Don't bypass it, troubleshoot the problem.
@@TimWilborne sir can I start online course?
I tried this today on a panel but while connected to the plc it read kind of an unstable value that would jump up and down.

just a question Tim.....is the micro controllers good for only small works or can they do the same thing as the micrologix controllers?
