    Little in the way of trailers or even continuity slides "Tomorrow at 5.10pm... now back to this afternoon and Blue Peter..."
    One programme ends and the Continuity Announcer simply introduces the next one.

      Ah Yes , as that would be advertising & adverts are strictly forbidden on the BBC! But ' product placement ' is just fine!

      @@mikemartin2957 well no it isn’t advertising it’s just a logo for Hanna Barbera, if it was advertising they would have said that other cartoon production companies are available

      @@ziyaadjamil2324 I assume that what they mean is that there would have been sponsor message of some sort after the Hannah-Barbera prodcution credit on the original US cartoon (e.g. "A Hannah Barbera Production..... brough to you by Coca Cola", or whatever that episode's original US sponsor might have been) and that the BBC had to stop the playback before the sponsor message accidentally went out on the BBC.
