I feel so happy and sad at the same time. Olivia is back, but at the same time, she doesnt know what Bolivia did with Peter. You can see the love that they both have for each other so clearly in this scene. Goodness, I just hope that Olivia fogives him later this season, I cant stand these two being apart from each other.
There have been quite a few "hospital" scenes with these 2 but for me, this is the most beautiful one of the entire series. It contains so much relief of tension, and I was touched by the fact that she always held on to the version of herself she was, despite the conditioning of the other world. And , even if the other Olivia inserted herself: it never really brought Peter off guard and he sees the real Olivia for who she is, but has a double feeling about Fauxlivia, as she's in many ways not a totally different person, but it's the motives that make her dangerous. Also the piano theme drives it home. It has been playing in different arrangement and with different instruments before, very subtly, when the 2 are together. But here it really becomes pronounce, that it's "peter & Olivia's across universes theme".
"I'm sorry, Olivia." Amazing how much meaning's behind those 3 little words. Sitting there waiting for her to wake up, he had to be thinking about the last time she was hospitalized, and how he almost lost her. Ironically, this might be the time he loses her, until the writers write a change of heart in our poor Liv. Peter had to lean forward and kiss her forehead because he was starting to cry, and he knew it wasn't the time or place for his confession-yet. What. A. Mess.
I dunno why but I cant stop watching this scene! It's so sad yet so sweet and wonderful. This is amazing writing and acting. Peter and Olivia is one of the best romances EVER written for television EVER. If they dont get a happy ending by series end...then I think I will cry.
god i ADORE the emotion behind everything Peter does in this clip. I'm really hoping that Olivia can find it in her heart to understand and forgive him within the next episode....even though i doubt it will happen.
Such a sweet scene and yet so sad because we know what Olivia doesn't. I don't know if it's just me but I felt like Peter kissing her on the forehead was kind of more romantic than if he had just went in for one on the lips (although I also think he did that because he definitely feels extremely guilty)...guess I'm gonna have to enjoy this as the last clip of them being happy together for what will probably be a while
@AlleyKitty13 The look on Peter's face is great. He's so broken by what happened. And I'm with you on the groveling and sucking up. I really want to see Peter do everything he can to win her back.
The writers don't seem to be playing Peter and Olivia to their full potential. Peter is usually so observant, like when he told Olivia he knew she was nervous because of a small expression change, so it would seem like he would notice the switch. And Olivia was terrified being "Over There" with Evil-Brandon about to cut open her head, so I was expecting a fire or his head to explode but nothing happened! Come on writers! I want super-woman and jack-of-all-trades back!
@brickdancer14 But don't you just love that lost puppy look on Peter's face. I foresee (or really darn hope for) groveling and sucks ups in the future...
@AlleyKitty13 Not that I don't love the more emotion-driven side of both characters! The acting is beautiful! I would just love it if the writers would portray Peter as the awesome, "what skill are we finding out about this week", and observant type guy. He read Walter like a book and being on the run taught him to read people (or die) so I just didn't think he used his full potential. (distracted by Bolivia's vagenda?)
@MayBrainLee1 Jesus Christ, Gleebee. If you love Josh Jackson so much, why can't you just sit back, shut up, and enjoy the beautiful performance he is giving in this scene. You really need to get a grip. What a weird obsession you have - you can't even enjoy this man's actual work any more, you just want him to play out some script you have in your own head.
The emotion with Peter was dead on! This has got to be one of the sweetest scenes between the 2 of them.....Love it!
This just hurts so bad, there are no words... Fringe is crazy and genius.
The kiss he gives her is the saddest, most tragic, most romantic thing I have ever seen on TV. OMG.

Peter looks like he's about to cry *sniffs*. My poor poor boy. Joshua did such a great job in this episode.

What. A. Mess.
Another example of the heartwrenching Fringe angst!

Peter`s crying =( He feels so bad!

OMG ! POOR OLIVIA ! THAT WAS A HEARTBREAKING SCENE !
She's gonna be singing a different tune the next episode!
That initial look on his face was like "I fucked up so bad."

@yoghurtLady
Have you seen the preview yet? Its going to make you cry.
Yeah, I know. I've been so busy!!!!! Wahh, I love Fringe, I've missed too much. :3

This is our Olivia shortly after she returned to our universe. You should catch up, you know? :D
I think i just died a little inside! Poor liv
I don't blame Olivia for being mad. I'd be mad too if someone did that to me.
Why is olivia's hair red? I thought the altliva had red hair? I forgot this show :P
