I think people are just a sick of the female characters always having to be serious, personality wise they are all interchangeable until more recently with scarlet witch, Valkyrie, and Shuri. Wasp in the comics makes fashion, is bubbly, and emotionally intelligent where as ant man was always scientifically intelligent. Wasp is the girly girl and it’s sucks to see her stripped down as another girl boss because men don’t know how to write good female characters and think that feminism is making a female character perfect and without flaw.

I get where you guys are coming from and I'm sure that's part of it. But over the last few years there's been a section of the population that has come to believe that whenever a reporter or report sites anonymous sources that means the reporter is making them up. She might be saying it to prove that just because her source is anonymous doesn't mean that they don't exist. That's how I took it.

F4 is going to be ALL about casting, I have a feeling it's going to be something special. Marvel waited a long time to get the rights back to their baby
Instead of jumping straight into Ironheart, especially with how that character never really grew that much in popularity, I feel like the much smarter move should've been to do Armor Wars with Riri Williams appearing as a supporting character. Then, after this introduction to a massive audience that would hopefully love her if she was written well for the show, they could jump into Ironheart completely lead by her
And if they don't like her, they can write her off or keep her as a supporting role. But to push her up to leading material right away is really jumping the gun as she has not been well received.
It is totally weird that there was no sneak peak at Eternals. They've got to have footage to show, and it would help with all the toy leaks happening if they got on top of showing off the style of the movie.
Marvel never releases trailors until about 6 months out. Saves on PR expenditures and makes it easier to keep up the hype.

Don't like the fact that they are not going to recast T'Challa a legacy Character for over 60+years. Totally killed my interest in the franchise that I was passionate about even before the first Iron Man movie was released. My enthusiasm just for buried.

If the want to honour him, then they should pass it down to someone who will finish what Chadwick has started rather letting a legacy character made before Chadwick was born to die with him. Ah yes... Just what the MCU needs, more comedy and jokes. I'd much rather see Rhody in a more serious role given his military background, it's a cliche trope but honestly would be a breath of fresh air given the 5 jokes per minute rule they seem to have at this point.

@Romanogers4ever I would LOVE if they did that with Bucky’s character and I know sebastian would be great but MCU has a history of ducking his comics like they did with Natasha and Clint. Especially when they’ve had so many opportunities. So I love him, he’s my favorite, but I think I’m gonna remain skeptic because MCU has repeatedly missed the mark with him and also natasha.

Seeing how the one notable movie Jon Watt’s has made outside of the MCU is an ultra disturbing horror movie about a man slowly turning into a clown demon and going around eating children I think it’s good that he doesn’t bring his own stylistic flair to the Marvel movies

I just wanna say thank you grace for hyping up the investor day in your videos or i would never have known. Seeing all these announcements live was a treat.
I think not having T'Challa back, even with a new actor, is HUGE mistake! He is a great character. Remember when the wonderful actor from Stars Spartacus died unexpectedly from lymphoma. He encouraged the character to live on with a new actor. They did...and while the new actor was slightly different...he did a good job. T'Challa is a really important character for many reasons. It's stupid to have anyone else take over the mantle.
They’re making a mistake not recasting T’Challa. The character is too big to kill off screen and its more disrespectful in my opinion not to carry the baton for Chadwick Boseman and do him proud as T’Challa.
yesss am also wondering why tf they did not recast him considering how T'Challa is a HUGE character.

For black Panther storyline you begin with Shuri taking the mantel and then she gets in trouble in the third act another Panther appears to fight, at the end when he is unmasked it is Killmonger- who Tchalla saved even though he asked to die and he has changed because of it- that builds towards BP 3 as you see him take on the role as king and panther.

I still feel Fantastic Four should be a tv series, we need a much slower and personal story to build the family dynamic and safe the bombastic worlds for season finales

George Clooney is almost 60. I don't think he has what's needed for a demanding superhero movie.
Tom Cruise is 58 and look what he does in his action films. I don't think Clooney would be asked to do nearly as much in a superhero movie as a typical action star (or stuntperson) would be asked to do in an action film or superhero film. He could pull it off.

While watching the Kevin Feige presentation, I thought to myself wow! Grace from BTT read the landscape very well ahead of time with great accuracy too!
He didn’t actually pit the ironheart character against stark he actually just said that it’s the most advanced suit since stark so they haven’t hinted towards a man vs woman thing or suggest that she will be trying to out do tony stark in anyway. Personally I feel like that was a bit of an unfair assumption.

It's been teased in the movies for years and Captain Marvel getting made was a dead giveaway. Not really an out of nowhere prediction. Comic book fans pick up on these future storylines pretty easily.

I don't think Falcon and Syder cut coming out near each other is that big a deal. With streaming you don't have to make a choice. I may only have the tolerance to go to the movies once a month but I watch stuff at home almost every day.

I really don't want Ms. Marvel and Ironheart in Young Avengers. They're not Young Avengers. I dunno about Iron Heart, but Ms. Marvel should get her own Champions team. Introduce Amadeus Cho in She-Hulk, introduce Miles in Spider-Man 3, and possibly introduce Nova (Sam) in Guardians 3.

Hi Grace, do you think that one day that they may re-introduce T'Challa using another actor from an alternate Earth? It would be a shame to never have T'Challa in the movies ever again.
Christian Bale as Gor is the most hype for me. Mostly because Gor is a representation of love and loss within an ideal. I understand Grace's focus is on Jane Foster's Thor, but I feel like she forgot the loss that occurred in order for Jane to have the opportunity to become Thor. Despite the fear that she may be a B story line its not like it would take away from her, but allow for the opportunity for Jane to have her own storyline as Thor.
They are being really secretive on eternals

I think they just wanted to keep the attention on the D+ stuff.... like they didnt show anything from SHang-CHi either and that comes out far before Eternals now. Ant-Man + Wasp trailer (also July movie) came out in January so then maybe.

Although if even by the end of summer the vaccines have been a success, they have worked for everyone and Covid has fizzled out which is still unknown and a long way off and then when will people feel safe enuf to flock back to theatres again, a lot of financial experts say the next movie to even cone close to a billion dollars which MCU strive for could be 2022 if even that. I think its possible they maybe dont want to show Eternal footage if they have to move the movie again🤔
I know you all wanted this to happen but I seriously didn't.
That defeated the whole purpose if the whole goal was to write him out after 1 solo film & 3 appearances with him consistently getting back & off the throne. Like, I get sentimental bases of Chadwick but he took the role over health for a reason. He proved that this role of the character was more important than himself. Granted, I know that they're going to do a good job with Shuri but I really wanted them to work hard to continue T'Challa.
I'm probably not having the most mature attitude about this but I'm really passionately wanted them to continue with the foundations that Chadwick built with that character & the fact they did not deliver on that by rolling over the easy way by giving her the mantle so almost immediate (with the MCU timing) is just heartbreaking. I don't support that. If this was the case then they should've made her the character in the 1st place.
You guys got what you wanted. Count me out of the Black Panther aspect of the MCU from this point forward.
2020 was rough to be a Marvel fan but it will be worth it in 2021, so much content!

I took Iron Heart having the most advanced suit of armor since Tony Stark as it’s just the most advanced thing since Tony’s death. It could be less advanced than Tony’s suit and still be the most advanced suit since Tony.
Is Armor Wars the story from the Iron Man 90's cartoon where Iron Man loses it and goes around hunting all the characters that use Stark Technology?

Looks like Marvel was productive during this time. Hopefully the year break led to a lot of revisions in writing, acting, actors, long-term storytelling, and goals. Taking a step back from a big project for even a little bit of time is a good thing.
It seems to me like the heads of each devision were asked to focus their announcements on disney + content. Thats why Shancg chi, eternals, antman and wasp etc barely get a mention

I hope the Disney + Marvel shows are more limited series type events rather than seasonal. Just a movie in a longer format with a fairly conclusive ending. I feel like the limited series format is better for maintaining high quality shows.

Given the fact that John Watts likes to direct a lot of high school teenage type of stuff I wouldn't be surprised at the Fantastic Four are relatively young like early to mid-twenties and I don't think that's a problem either.

What I think they should have done is have Riri Williams (Ironheart) be a recurring character in Armor Wars. Then, depending on how the audience respawns to the character, spin her off into here own show.

I'm really looking forward to Ironheart. Don't know anything about the character but I've always loved the name Ironheart. I'm also concerned about her outdoing Tony in her very first appearance. It'd be really stupid for any character especially a child to make an Iron Man armour more advanced than the one Tony has, the one with nanobots.
Am actually most excited for two things: Loki series n Fantastic four( I REALLY hope its good) also i love the casting for Ironheart n Ms Marvel.

No matter what they say... there's no way they can say to justify them NOT continuing that character's journey..even by the passing of the widely beloved actor playing him.
I believe Feige himself said these characters are much bigger than the people playing them..and that even iron man/tony stark can be played by somebody else, like james bond or batman.
Making Shuri or m'baku taking over the mantle already is just a dumb and lazy solution to this.
