I grew up Delray back in the 1960's and 1970's. It was decent neighborhood to live in then even though the proximity to Zug Island and the Solvay plant's emissions had the smelly coal and who knows what else in the air. I left in january 1978 to join Army for acareer and have only been back to Delray four times since then. It is so depressing to see the old neighborhood look like war zone's that I have seen . I had some good memoriesand some bad memories of living there then . I think of all th e good people who lived there and who is still living after all these years. I am 57 now and seems like yesterday when i lived there. God bless Delray! I have family buried at Woodmere Cemetery. i hope to get up that way asap to reminisce.
I looked all over for trains last night and today and didn't see one. I went to Ecorse and all around Great Lakes Steel and didn't see any engines or trains moving. Sorry.
Good work.I drove around area for a long time. I remember a Hungarian restaurant on Springwells east of the tracks; I remember Joey's nightclub ; I hauled steel from the Great Lakes steel mills , gas with Hatcher Transport , delivered stone and sand to Clark. It is so much more worse now, with the residue in the air from the refineries CHOKING your pours as if wrapped in Saran wrap !
This is so sad I grew up here. on Vanderbilt and medina street. was bad when I was a kid. Lehi park was the place where all the kids went in the summer. Now it's just a drug infested ghost Town. But in the late 70's and early 80's we still had a great time and everyone Knew everyone.
The soundtrack from Tom Clancy's The Division "Survival" is the best music to listen to while driving during a snowy winter night. It's ambience fits perfectly. ruclips.net/video/aeFaj9mGIPs/видео.html

Pink Floyd is amazing man. Great taste. I never hated a single song of theirs. I consider Detroit the hardest city in America.
Same here. It should be considered an "oldie."
Thanks.
Torin Sullivan Yes.I AGREE 100% !
