      The crash or a Remco prediction?

  • @cooldude.1811
    @cooldude.1811 3 месяца назад +1

    Both Remco and Roglic apparently aggravated earlier injuries suffered by them during their fall, so we'll know how much it has affected them only during the stage itself, especially on the final climb. Ayuso also seemed pretty banged up, though he still finished.

      Maybe they were chocked ? Rog was smiling some minutes after the crash. Imagine being Roglic you crash 2 twice in a race just before the tour you aim, or being Evenepoel and losing any chance to perform or appear at the start or TDF

    Ramco win 😮 it's not gonna happen as i sow in first couple of stages. Rog and jogenson are too strong.

      Let's see ey, has been saving energy in these first stages, on one of them he wanted to go on one of the steeper bits to realise he had a small puncture, so I don't think that what we've seen on the opening stages is representative of their form, the ITT is though, these never lie and I think we can all agree there were no doubts about 's form in that one. From yesterday's finish interview, also looked to be suffering more from the crash. Jorgenson could indeed be the 3rd dog running off with the bone (he's not been on the ground, nor has Kuss) - it should be fireworks

    No shoutout for Hindley? Think even if he is strongest that he'll be purely on domestique duties? Great videos as always Cycling Guy

      Should Roglic have an issue, Vlasov still sits 1’12” ahead of Hindley in GC and has been looking stronger than Hindley IMO, so I do indeed think he’ll be on superdomestique duties

    Hey thanks :)
    I agree with your favouries except Ayuso who crashed hard, I don't think he'll be in the match.
    For me Roglic Evenepoel and Jorgenson are the 3 strongest but here's my scenario : Rog and Evenepoel will watch at each other and won't move until Jorgenson moves because they have enough time others. I think Vlasov can win the same way he did in Paris-Nice then, Buitrago has the punch to attack and make a gap and even win in a sprint (I imagine against Rodriguez or Kuss or everyone). Cicone could be interesting also, he managed to finish 4th twice, his legs look good (and Tao felt though he is okay).
    So for me Buitrago or Cicone or Vlasov for the win. Please Primoz and Remco play the game of cat and mouse 😂

      Great stuff as ever, thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts, really cool to read other people's minds. Ayuso seemingly bashed up more than I thought, thanks for bringing that up. I agree with your Vlasov scenario, also Kuss could win in a similar fashion if he has a good day. I expect Cicone to drop on these longer and harder climbs - it could be a pretty open race today, let's see how the weaknesses will play up and how others will exploit them ;-)

      @@CyclingGuy You just explained my thought haha, I was a bit disapointed after the stage yesterday where I expected a massive battle for the breakaway so I hope they won't wait for an uphill sprint today.
      I totally agree that Cicone could be dropped because he didn't ride for a while but he will 100% try if no one moves (I hope bcs I like this guy 🤫).
      Kuss could do the same as Vlasov in Paris-Nice yes but maybe not today because if he attacks, I expect other contenders to follow him (Rodriguez, Hart...) which means Jorgenson would lose time on. I don't know, see you after the race 😉

    I was just wondering why is Sepp Kuss and Jai Hindley more than 3 minutes back? Both these guys are grand tour winners. They can ride they can climb. Are their teams purposely telling them to take it easy? Why Sepp doesn't go for win here since he didn't crash today?

    • @greniermatteo2905
      @greniermatteo2905 3 месяца назад +1

      Kuss lost time on the time trial and Hindley lost a minute on stage 2 + 2mins on the trial time (he's Roglic domestic so it's quite logic, even if I expected him not to be dropped on stage 2).
      Kuss will work for Jorgenson or will try to go for the win because Jorgenson is a bit too dangerous for Roglic and Evenepoel. If Kuss decides to attack they won't chase him immediately.
      Hindley is a different case. Bora have Roglic + Vlasov as co leader. They both can do good in the general classification and Hindley is already too far and doesn't seem to have the legs so he will just work for them.

    • @youneke
      @youneke 3 месяца назад +1

      @@greniermatteo2905 Well I thought Hindley was stronger than that I know he is domestiq for Roglic but still don't expect him to be 3 minutes back and losing time. Why will Kuss have to work for Jorgensen I thought it would be the other way around with Vinge n Roglic not there. I know Jorgensen looks stronger so far but in a one week race nothing is wrong with going for a win in one of these final stages

      @@youneke with Kuss at 3:36 in GC (following a bad ITT) and Jorgenson at only 1:04, Kuss will be on domestique duty here for Jorgenson - should a bunch of riders stay together all the way to the finish, I do see Kuss trying to snatch the stage tough. Something else we should not underestimate is the upcoming TdF - with Vingegaard still uncertain, they may well have plans with Kuss, ...

      Finally Evenepoel was the key of the stage as expected, if he was feeling good, Vlasov would have win (he was very very impressive in last 2km pulling Rog). Also impressed by Gee ! What a performance eh

      @@greniermatteo2905 I've never been a fan of Vlasov, because he seemed to refuse riding for others, but I'm seeing a different Vlasov here, absolutely tearing himself apart for .
