Just so you guys know, I made the voice mod for this NOT the model. The person who made the model is linked below. I'm not a huge of the model personally, but there ain't much I can do about that.
Got requested by someone named Thaddor on Discord to make a female Terry voice. Normally I don't take requests to make a brand new voice mod, but he caught me on a good day I guess, so I accepted. LOL
This mod gave me more trouble than I thought it would, but it was still fun to work on! Had a lot of things going on in my personal life, so progress was pretty slow on this and it's also why I haven't made an Elite Smash video in long while. Hope you guys enjoy this mod showcase!
Fun Fact: At 1:01, I didn't turn off sound effects or anything for this part, Game & Watch just actually doesn't have a hit sound effect for when he hits someone with the sourspot of forward-smash!

The song playing is called "Brillante" from SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy and is also the game where I got all the voice clips from. Female Terry is voiced by Chiaki Takahashi.

Easier to mod the legs look like zero suit too I think it might just be zs model in terry pose and a skin change would make the most sense

Usually when showcasing a mod I use a stage that's tied to the character's series. However, the King of Fighters stage actually has fans in the crowd constantly cheering in the background, so I decided to use a stage that I know for a fact doesn't have background noise.
Also, as the title states, this is a VOICE mod. I did not make the model, nor do I like it, but I was requested to make a voice for it.
You could turn SFX off w/o turning voices off in the settings menu.
@@liquidscreamisnomore I could, but I feel it would sound... unnatural, I guess? When I was making my first mod showcase video years ago I tried that and I didn't like how it turned out. I've had sound effects for all my showcase videos now and it'd probably be weird to stop now, I think.

@@bearzdlc2172 it's because the model isn't meant to be used with that set of animations, if this were to become official they would need to tweak the model or animations a bit to make it fit better

Oh yeah! I had seen that mod before but wasn't really impressed with the way the model was imported into Smash. Looks kinda funny to me so I never gave it a second thought. If it doesn't have a proper English voice, I may just have to give it a shot myself at some point!

Slightly disappointed they didn't do the female Terry as an alt. Not only would it have fit alongside the likes of the 2 trainers and FE avatars, but it would've been an interesting piece of SNK trivia that she even exists.
Plus it's hilarious.

I respect your opinion, but I feel as though that would completely misrepresent Terry. The only time female Terry even exist is within SNK Heroines as what is essentially fan service.

Honestly the biggest thing this highlights is how much more energy Smash Terry has in his voice than normal SNK games have.

I now see why a female alt wouldn’t work. Terry’s shoulders.
It works with Fire Emblem, Wii Fit, etc because even in their base games they made sure that everything looks good with the male and female models.

Well other than the obvious reasons, I think I understand why Cutie Terry wasn't a thing.
It's fine in motion, but every time you pause you can see how disjointed the model is. It makes me wonder how they manage to accomplish having both genders for Wii Fit Trainer
The voice mod is pretty great, but she never really sounded as energetic as Terry so that's on the VA/seiyuu than anything else.
I mean, that doesn't really mean anything. look at Byleth, the female version is actually shorter, but when you look at them in action, you can see Nintendo took the time to rig the female version separate from the male one and some of her animations are even unique compared to the male one. They'd just have to do the same with Terry.

What are you talking about? Multiple characters have both male and female alts. There's no excuse, except censorship.

Those other characters are gender-optional in their normal games. Terry's female version was just made so they could include him in an "all-star ladies" game for fun. It's not his typical appearance or nature like it is for those others. It's pretty understandable that they didn't bother to include it.
It's getting to the point where people crying about so-called "censorship" are about ten times more annoying than censorship itself.
I like how Mr game and watch is just there, maybe it's a hidden message!

I have one problem, the Power Wave seems not as powerful as I thought, but besides that this is an absolutely amazing mod, I don't want people to think I'm just complaining, this is a really well done mod which no doubt took so long to make as the modeling, voice and animation is something I could never do

I get that Terry speaks Engrish, but this is a bit much. It needs something to mask it at least, like maybe adding a little more oomph to the voice.

Honestly I wish they gave us a female alt. Something similar to Mario and Sephiroth where they have the last two alts as different costumes. It would have been cool since she specifically came out for a Switch game not long before that.

Cutie terry doesn’t have that dramatic voice on her moves compared to the original. Her voice seems pretty lacking. she sounds so casual. Oh well, I guess it might just be my obsession of over the top voice acting. Overall pretty cool!

Technically that Female Terry wasn't been used alot before SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy used it. Sakurai probably stick with the Male Terry Bogard since he was more iconic and plus, it would might get issues with CERO company like what happened to Mai Shiranui that Sakurai had to exclude her due to the risky outfit doesn't fit with the For Good Boys and Good Girls for All Ages rule.
