❤️ Recuerdo cuando tenia veintitantos….llena de sentimientos desbordados . Amada hasta el cansancio ! Qué excelente tema ! Revivo, revivo y revivo con ella ….! Gracias
Oh my good God. I don't know what to do. I'm frozen still. The poetry...the voice, pure and rich-as beautiful as Elvis, as suffering as Joplin. The storyteller delivery-as masterful as Kristofferson. What is wrong with the world that J.R. Richards is not a household name to the likes of Freddy Mercury or Robert Plant?
A beautiful, intimate version of this "Pet Your Friends" classic. I used to listen to this song a lot in the summer of 1996 before I started school. If I recall correctly JR, you used a Hammond organ on this song.
Im really stuck into your voive and your songs JR 😊 Wish you perform so much time like this stripped version it is one of favorite 😊 God bless you always ☝💓
this is an amazingly beautiful version of "Give". The arrangement is really very cool especially the bluesy piano that starts around 4:10. Thanks for sharing your gift.
Hey, JR. Really nice to hear this beautiful approach to one of my favorites Pet your friends songs. Your voice is amazing(as usual) and that bluesly piano in the middle is just mind-blowing. Please consider coming to Brazil after all this madness we're living right now. Cheers.
I've always had "Give" on my fluctuating "Top 10 songs I'd need with me if I'm stranded on an island" mixtape. Try, just try to pin down a limit of 10 songs to listen to for the rest of your life. It's nearly impossible. So I concur with you both, I'd be okay if it I could only listen to this gem, and it is the highest compliment a songwriter could ever have.
When I was 17, my eldest sister and her friends invited me for a chill night of drinking. It was about 3am when we were going home and I was tipsy and this was played in the car. I swear this song gets even more beautiful when one is influenced by alcohol 😂
This gem and all Dishwalla songs performed by JR Richards deserve an Unplugged Concert and a Synphonic One ,too.
Thanks my man!

The only thing I could give to you J R Richards is my lifetime of gratitude for all the great songs you have created...

My grocery store Hannaford plays the same 40-50 songs on repeat, and oddly enough the original version of Give is one of them.
Honored to be one of the 50... though hope you aren't sick of it yet :-)
