I would like to point out that the comfort of this motorcycle is very good. This issue with my Hips on this bike is down to my personal flexibility being extremely poor & nothing to do with the bikes ergonomic’s! As with all bikes please test ride and make your own decisions.
@xXJarvarXx seat was lovely for the time spent on the ClC450 compared to the 650MT apart from the badge. Rear suspension probably cheaper to upgrade but had no issues on the demo ride.
I think the problem is with those demo-rides is that you can’t get a real good feeling for the bike, I think this bike has certainly the looks but it’s hard to compare with any other bike, it’s kinda in the in between from the RE 350 and RE 650 range…. I definitely gonna check this one out 😊
Think it’s a great idea the demo day take out as many as you like for free so long as you have the right license. If it really feels like it might be one for you book a full test ride. There is very little like this bike and maybe it’s in its own bracket. But it’s on par engine wise with the RE 650s
Nice vid, I’ve been looking for a small displacement lighter cruiser. Not many options with a 270 degree twin in this class. For me it is this or a meteor 650
@@BlueHippoMoto yeah that’s what I’ve gathered. There are other cfmoto 450s that share the engine and make 50hp at the crank and 50hp at the wheel uncorked with a tune. So I’m willing to bet if the need for a little more power is there it wouldn’t be too hard to obtain
@@TopNotchPanchit’s not the same as the other 450 engines hence why it’s less power, it’s the 400 bored out apparently. Not sure why they went that way, it doesn’t need more power though it’s a cruiser. Get a different bike if you want power mate.
The big difference is not much horsepower difference and the RE is way heavier…also the windscreen for the SM is worthless so that bike is not really made for highway either
The RE Shotgun is heavy but so is my CFMoto 650 MT the soft tune on the RE Shotgun 650 engine is not understandable. Whereas The 450 cc CLC has a very engaging engine but would likely be close to max power. The weight of such a small bike is going to benefit the CLC performance wise , both can do motorway speeds would it be there best functionality no. Both are better A & B road motorcycles.
It would depend on the rules in your country, the CFMOTO will have a better warranty and depending on age of the Honda Shadow more safety features. If possible try and test ride both certainly make sure you sit on both.
@@BlueHippoMoto too much hassle, need to lose all the bulk, strip it all back to basics and make the geometry to suit, that motor in a super fun motard frame would be right up my street.
I’d like to say it’s good , but it’s a bit alien to my riding style so I personally found it harder to turn sharply without running a bit wide on 90 degree turns , but awesome for curved
The thing is you don’t learn enough from most bikes in 30/60 mins or even a couple of hundred miles , time in the seat and decent ownership time is far more telling if they didn’t get that lemon built last thing on a Friday l.

ive heard the seat and rear suspension is a little bad, but seat can always be upgraded

It looks better than the Rebel and the Eliminator as well
I’d personally agree with you it really looks amazing, but obviously it’s personal taste.
that sound, so satisfying

I really want to see one up in canada ..looks cool
It’s a very cool looking bike , fingers crossed they will ship them over to you
@@BlueHippoMoto thanks
Same here!

Thank you. I can only go by riding the Shogun 650 , but if you’re not going two up or need the extra torque this engine felt more fun.

@@seanmack4552 where did you learn that? From what I gather it’s the same 270 twin detuned, probably with a different intake for wider torque
@@TopNotchPanch from my dealer where I got mine, he’s pretty up with everything they do.
how is the metal plate attached to the seat? easy to remove or would need to replace the seat?
It looks like 2 pop rivets but it could just be glued on , it may mean a replacement seat cover from an aftermarket source.
This or the Super Meteor? Like the looks and the tech better on cf moto. How fast did you get it
As I had to ride at the pace of every one else it will easily do 60 mph

Hello im a beginner biker and i am in a dilemma should i buy this or should i buy honda shadow 600 which is more beginner friendly?

Need a 450 supermoto version, would sell loads.
Could you not turn the new MT 450 into a super moto with a quick tyre change ?
@@BlueHippoMoto too much hassle, need to lose all the bulk, strip it all back to basics and make the geometry to suit, that motor in a super fun motard frame would be right up my street.
@Thegeordiemonkey I think I just learned there’s a difference other than tyres between the two , never knew.
We could do with a 450 Scrambler too
That 450 engine is lots of fun and could be added to many styles of motorcycle
How's the turning circle on this?
I’d like to say it’s good , but it’s a bit alien to my riding style so I personally found it harder to turn sharply without running a bit wide on 90 degree turns , but awesome for curved
You think that is small for my height? 186cm
It’s probably not while riding but putting your feet down you might find your knees very high up. Always worth checking
I'm 183 cm and fit perfectly on it. I doubt the 3 cm will make a big difference but try first before buying it obviously. 😁
I never trust a review from an organised test ride, always biased 'cause they want to get asked back. An owners review is worth way more salt.

1000ks on mine no issues mate👌 great bike
Blue Hippo just got MARKETED - We don't have to accept CFMoto marketing and long term ownership. Do your research
