Today, we're back to playing DMZ, where we head to BUILDING 21 as a SOLO to HUNT ENEMY SQUADS with our trusty THROWING KNIVES!!
Enemy Squads absolutely HATE being beaten by a solo melee player, as you'll see from some of the reactions xD

it's so satisfying to outplay a fully geared team with oneshots and rgls without guns or armor. tells a lot that this games is more about strategy and skill than brutal force.

I gotta ask Andy, how do you do this? I miss my throwing knives a lot and I get tired of getting hit by one tap shotgunners and glitches. How many re runs have you done to get these good matches? What's your secret what keeps you playing and what keeps you from not throwing your controller?
I've been playing DMZ with only knives for about 2 years now, but already had decades of experience with FPS games, so found it fairly easy to get the hang of. At first, it wasn't THAT easy to land knife shots, but the more and more i played, the easier it got - probably to do with muscle memory. I play on Keyboard and mouse, which i think offers a big advantage when playing with knives, because a lot of it has to do with movement, and i feel Mouse and Keys is better for movement than controller. 'Strafing' as a knifer is HUGE for dodging gunfire and hiding after throwing. Also if you're visible to anyone, never stand still or you'll die. Try to split your enemy squad up into three lots of 1v1's.... it's a lot easier than a facecheck 1v3. As for timescale... The clips from this video were all done in the same evening over a few hours of gaming.
@@4ndyb Interesting I play on console, my knife throwing is okay but, I am not squad wiping. So your key is movement, I notice though, it is easy for me to hit guys who do the instant prone thing, but, leapers are harder for me to hit. Which do you recommend though console or PC? Also, what do I do if they see me first but, I do not know where they are? And how do I deal with the constant UAV bundles cause those guys are the most difficult to deal with and there is a lot of them in the lobbies I find myself in.
@@silverstorm1233You'll get more performance from a pc, and personally, I am terrible on controller.... so PC all the way for me. If you are seen first, then try to be more covert in your movement in future games. It's a huge disadvantage to get seen first. To survive any attacks, make use of smoke grenades.... stock up on at least 3+ so you have enough to shroud your movement to get to a better place for engagement. As for UAVs, you can either make sure you're wearing a stealth vest, or retreat to a place where you feel confident taking on teams with your knives.... don't stay in the same spot whilst the UAV is on, or they'll find you. Usually, tight corridors and having multiple escape routes are best... so never get caught out in the open, or in a place where you cant escape... otherwise it's usually curtains. Always fight on your terms... know your plan, and follow it with full intent... and always try to have an escape route incase you lose all your knives. There's nothing wrong with fleeing to get more knives or if you feel outnumbered. Be prepared to fail, so you know what doesn't work and what does. All of what I mentioned above will become second nature after enough practice and experience.
@@4ndyb I might just try one more time this time with your advice, I usually just keep the spotter scope. My pc unfortunately when It loads COD it is weird it won't run DMZ for some reason maybe cause of loading the graphics for an entire map. Even though it can run the Witcher 3 which is weird.
I'll try to be prepared to fail, but, if I start to lose my temper or I am not having as much fun as I should be I think I might just put COD up for a while. Thanks for the advice I will try it out and let you know if I succeed in my endeavors.

Help me dude, I got banned today for doing nothing. I am not that a good player too but they say that I have been using cheats. I play on PC but use any cheats at all. Some matches I am able to get just 4 kills max. What do I do now?

Hey, dude, the way you hit me with a knife 3:42 was pure chance, and you were saved by a shield, so you wouldn't have survived if you said you were playing with knives, I would have thrown away the weapon and we would have fought like men, I also very often only play with knives.) sorry for the insults, but there are a lot of cheaters playing there and sometimes it's just impossible to hold back emotions))
The knife throw was 100% intentional, i land those types of throws (and longer) on the regular. Despite the lack of maturity in your comment on here, and verbally in the video, I appreciate the apology, thank you. If you truly are the angry little boy in the video, learn from your teammate, he was the humble one. It's only a game remember :) Cheers!
