Personally, I know I'm paying for shit on JQ so I expect shit. That makes my JQ flights tolerable because the crew have mostly been non-shit to me, except once when I was threatened with police for filming. So I'm alright with them.

Hey Ryan and thanks for watching!
I have actually watched your video where that incident occurred and I actually had no idea they threatened to call the police on you! For filming of all things. That’s crazy!
But yes, when it’s $49 to the Gold Coast, travelers can’t be picky haha.
As always, thanks so much for your on-going support and big fan of your work!
      Best,

Thanks for the review ! My big issue with Jetstar is the constant changing and cancelation of flights .This happened to me last year when an early evening flight from Melbourne to The Gold Coast was canceled in the late afternoon . The next available flight was the following morning . If they could be relied upon to efficiently transfer passengers from A to B I might consider flying them again .
Last week I visited Perth and Broome for the first time .QANTAS business from Melbourne to Perth and Broome to Melbourne was great ; unfortunately. I had used FF points to fly an A330 from Melbourne to Perth and it was changed to a 737 800. Still a great flight though . You may want to review the QANTAS A330 flight , or as another commentator mentioned , the new Rex Perth flights . PS . I love the Jetstar toastie too !

Hi there John thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!
My biggest fear has been that a wide body aircraft I have booked, gets downgraded to a 737-800. Fortunately, it has never happened to me before but I can imagine your frustration!
As always, thanks for watching and have a great day and safe travels!
      Best,
      Nilesh

Great review. I heard REX have just announced Perth to Melbourne flights with a new route to be announced in coming days (my guess is Perth to Sydney!) that may very well be a strong contender for your next flight over to the West Coast i reckon! Sale fares are $299 and very smartly the airline is doing an overnight run to Perth and back presumably so it doesn’t have much impact on its east coast daytime routes.

Hey mate thanks for watching and thank you once again, for your on-going support! I will have to check out the new Rex route at some point, fingers crossed haha.

Here's some things Jetstar do well. I travel with my disabled partner. We purposefully don't pay for specific seats .At checkin Jetstar will allocate seats to disabled people in either row 2 or 3, free of charge.(quite often with the seat between us left free) Other airlines would cost to do that. Another thing is that when it looked like Rex was going to go bust, I quickly booked Jetstar fully refundable tickets, just in case .... as we were due to fly out a couple days from the REX announcement.. In the end, we were able to fly, as Virgin filled in the gap .So I cancelled the Jetstar tickets ,and there was zero cancellation fee. Yeah, I know we now have vouchers, but that convenience of being able to buy and cancel at the last moment, reasonably priced tickets is also something only Jetstar do. The prepurchase chicken wrap and coffee is ok. Other than that, we try to book when tickets are on sale. For example Hobart to here in Adelaide for sometimes crazy prices. Then again, I think every Jetstar ticket purchased has had multiple flight time changes.... "The curate's egg" of an airline.

Hmm, so a tweet mocking the name of a currency isn’t racist in the slightest - it’s humour. You’re clearly one of the professional victims who loves spending their time looking for ‘racism’ where it doesn’t exist.
