What a beautiful collection. I live in palm beach county and so glad to see someone in FL growing succulents so well. Can you do a video with the soil mixture?

Are you in South Florida? It was such a treat to see your succulent tour. I hope you will keep posting lots of videos. Your tip about trimming the aloe roots was so very helpful. I stopped using trailing elephant bush for that reason, I never thought I could still use it but trim the roots, brilliant! I'm in Central Florida, with hundreds of succulents too. :)

I am on the treasure coast. So glad you enjoyed the tour! I’ve moved pots around since then. you know how it is… Lol! I will definitely do another video soon. Glad you enjoyed the tip. It will save you a lot of heartache. I am constantly checking the roots of my allows for that reason. Happy succulent gardening!

Wonderful collection! Are they exposed to the Florida rain?

Hi! They are sort of exposed to the FL rain. They re under an overhang, but they do get some rain depending on the intensity. The overhang does help.

Gorgeous! Do you plan to hang planters from the pergola?

    • @itsasucculentthing6073

TYSM! No, I don’t plan to hang plants from the pergola. The rainy season here in Florida can be quite unpredictable. I won’t have time to take it down in case of a storm. I was thinking about making a succulent wreath to hang from the pergola, but I would face the same problem.
