This is such a good topic and great episode! I had never heard of in a sermon prior to watching (Becoming Something) about the way that you should address sinful behavior and I do think it’s one of those verses that is foreign to our culture. I’m so guilty of talking to other people about a situation before I address the person one on one and I feel so convicted that I need to do this the proper way according to scripture. How come Paul says in Romans we're free from the law, and that there's no condemnation... and then turns around in corinthians giving everybody a whole list of sins that won't allow people to inherit the kingdom of heaven
They were using the law as a belt to whip people into shape. They valued works>the cross of Jesus. Faith in Jesus saves, fruits of the spirit flow from that
