I’m trying to decide between Consistent, commitment, and Self-control as my word of the year. My goals for 2024 is to continue with The Bible Recap, praying more, and restarting the carnivore way of eating. I have a bad habit of starting something but not sticking with it 😏

I’m starting keto after I give birth and plan on doing keto until the end of April! We got this, girl! My word I chose is self control!:)
consistent is something we can do, commitment is as well. Self control is tricky.. HE is our self control that is what I think. In the fruits of the spirit Self-control and is there and yes we are to achieve that, pray and study.
I never thought about a fruit of the spirit before. I’ve done a verse I think, but I need self control and commitment in my life so that’s my goal for this year!!!
I have not yet chosen my word for the year. I have a short phrase for the current year.. “But GOD”, I was given the opportunity to use this phrase a lot and it was aawesome . What I will have for this year.. is yet to be known to me. I had Joy a few years ago, it maybe Hesed. It is a Hebrew word. And many different types of unconditional Love. It may the that. Unless I am given a different word.
"BUT GOD" is going to be my word for the year!! I love this! Happy New Year, everyone!
I am so glad that God lead me to your channel. I made a prayer bible last year and I was so happy about my prayer Bible and I did not know that it would be a greatest weapon. My sister had a brain aneurysm and the prayer Bible that you told me to make came in hand. God told me to rush to the hospital where my sister was and do not forget my prayer Bible. Our family at didn’t know how her outcome was gonna be because they found her in unconscious in her car. When I finally made it to where she was, God told me to grab my prayer Bible and read the Bible over her for three days. I read over my sister every verse that I had tag with labels, mostly spiritual warfare and healing. 3 days had passed and God was doing something so great that my sister was walking and talking. Everyone in the hospital was so excited because she was doing everything that the other patients were not doing. All I can do is give God the praise and thank God for placing your RUclips video in my feed. I will be making more prayer Bibles.

I love the idea of picking a word for the year, and using The Fruit of The Spirit is perfect. Our church ladies have so been enjoying working on our Prayer Bibles too; just love how we fellowshipped together and got to work on our Bibles. Thank you for all you do 💕💕
Great video! I love studying God's Word daily, as a senior I now have more time. Proverbs 31 app has daily studies that I have enjoyed. So inspiring to see women from all backgrounds coming together to pray. 🙏

I want to thank you Jessica for this video! I saw it a couple months ago and decided on Self Control not for any particular reason it was on my heart. I cannot tell you how this has changed me. Having something like this has kept my mind focused on it and I have been so amazed at how this applies to so many areas of my life especially areas I didnt even consider. This has helped me so much and brought me closer to Jesus like nothing else has. My awareness is making me mentally healthier & spiritually healthier! Thank you so much Jessica without your video I would still be stuck in a yucky rut. Grateful not to be there anymore!!

Joy is a wonderful gift of the spirit which I had been missing for years (except for moments ). The Joy of the Lord is our strength.

A much better way to ring in the New Year than watching a ball drop (especially with the so-called “entertainment “ that goes with it). I’ve been following you for a while as you are a blessing in my life! I put together a wonderful prayer Bible that I use every day. Having the tabs and highlights make my time with the Lord so much more enjoyable and meaningful. I had absolutely no idea that you had a life that was that full and busy. God bless you for doing what you can to help all of us know the Lord, and get closer to the Lord in spite of the fact that you must hardly have time for doing all you need to do for your work, and your family, and for the Lord. You are such an example of a giving heart and a special woman of God, who must make Him very proud to call you one of his children. 💜
I am going to use the Bible recap plan on the YouVersion app. It reminds me on my phone every day to do my reading.
I did the DaySpring Word of the Year Quiz and my word is Imagine. That's a stretch for me so I am excited to pray on this word and see what God does for me in the coming year.

A prayer Bible is overwhelming to me. However, I do have a printed list in my Bible that I have compiled so I do use the Bible in my prayers

Heart Dive with Kanoe Gibson is a great Bible study if anyone is looking for a chronological reading plan. A lot of her members have mentioned you when they subject of prayer Bible comes up. That’s how I found you!
you can ask God to give you a word for 2024 so that you can focus on that for the whole year, it might be a large one or a small one and that word might encourage you throughout the wek it might convicted you, etc

How many themes do you use per bible? I have 20 themes and about 8-10 verses per theme. Thanks for this great idea!
I plan on working on kindness is as the KJV calls it meekness. This is an area I need to work on especially when leaving comments on social media such as RUclips, Blogger and Instagram. My in kindness comes when people leave mean comments, I react without thinking. Or when commenting on a video on a topic in which I agree with the content creator and I refer to the person being featured by not such nice names. I never use profanity but I really want Jesus to shine so that I don't cross that line.
