The Laudate Dominum... one of the loveliest utterances in all music!!!
Had to sing the entire piece with a college choir during my freshman year and now I’m lowkey obsessed
Thanks you for uploading this, it's perfect for practicing. The choir is great!
Sang it with my college concert choir. Loved it ever since.
Grandiose, cela se rapproche du sublime et de la transcendance ! Merci, Grazie, Danke, Thanks !
Delightful! My favorite movt is the 4th because I like fugues.
13:27 Fantástic fugue!
Really reminds me of the Kyrie Eleison fugue from his famous Requiem!
wunderbar zum Einstudieren!!
Laudate Dominum [16:52] is most beautiful. I think, it was inspiration for Bellini, Donizetti, Puccini... and so on. Regards.
Amazing work which I’ve never heard! Added to playlist!
¡Gracias, Mozart!
Long time too, since I sang that in Salzburg. But this is not a piece of cake, mind you! Quite long in the whole, every movement written in different style and key (!), rhythmically very difficult, sometimes quite polyphone and it seems even polyrhythmic. Wide ranges of pitch for the voices, very tiring. In fact, the best known piece, the Laudate Dominum, is a welcome chance for resting the voice, before it's challenged a last time at the Magnificat.
One of Wolferl's absolute masterpieces, but in comparison hardly known. Thank you for uploading it!
So gut ausgedrückt!

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's a magnificient work.
I've sung in before and I have to agree with you completely. That laudate pueri is tricky. We took it faster and that made it even more of a challenge.
I strongly suspect that Süssmayr had the Laudate Dominum at the back of his mind when composing his completion for the Requiem. What an absolute beauty that movement is...
Mozart's choral music ... wow. 11:43 17:21
This piece is really beautiful!!
Me and my girlfriend just saw the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra perform this piece. We both really enjoyed it.
We’ve been practising this all day. Concert next weekend. Rehearsal was at Saint lunaire in brittany france. Beautiful music in stunning location.
I’ve had this on repeat all evening from 16:52
Une musique incroyable, d'une perfection technique absolue.
Да,технически совершенно,но нет Зюйсмара,нет искры божьей....
Bellissima
Astro fulgido, fulminante, illuminante, eterno e splendente. Mozart, mio divino

Mozart's sensitivity is very similar to Antonio Vivaldi's
Anyone else notice this isn't the key that's written? It's a semitone lower. Very very beautiful though!
That's usually the case for period specific performance.
beautiful version…who is it??
Is this Gardiner’s or Harnoncourt’s version?
Harnoncourt, it's in descrption. ;)
I didn't see it, sorry. Excellent choice, in my opinion Harnonccourt is the best rendition of Mozart's sacred music.
@@juliano7056 Harnoncourt was such a genius. So bummed that I never got to see him ):
They did great but the tuning was somehow weird throughout
Weird how?
But what they're playing *does* match what is written. It's your brains, that are calibrated on 440. :)
I have perfect pitch, and watching baroque score videos used to be hard for me, but I've learned to read in different modes.
The score we see here is not what Mozart wrote. Apart from the violins everything was notated in different c-keys so absolute pitch was not an issue because everyone was used to constant transposition. Universal pitch didn't even exist then.
Tuning is ok but there are too many notes.
Je veux en alti
This was composed when Mozart was asked to write music for a church music speedrun attempt 😂
