Do jaspers ever need a reflow? Or is this only for the earlier versions such as xenon. Also with the capacitors going bad why is that? Is there a way to prevent it?
@@acepvp271 i have a jasper and it red ringed, (error 0110 GPU or Ram has a cold joint) i tried to reflow myself but it was unsucessfull since i accidently bent an X clamp taking it off and tried to use it anyways. Jaspers can red ring but not as common as earlier revisions.
@@Kale-4237 Its been over a year since I've had anything to do with xbox modding but from memory 0110 on a Jasper was a bad cap which was interesting as 0110 is the E20 Memory address line failed or unresponsive error so I'm not entirely sure as for reflowing goes its a bad way to fix them and it will just likely die again within due time, replace the gpu or ram chip instead as the issue is in the gpu or ram chip and not in the solder balls underneath.
I have had multiple Jaspers with red ring. It’s not very common at all it’s pretty rare to have a Jasper with red ring as they are the best motherboards. And the capacitors, I now remove them before I do a reflow and then reinstall them once it’s done.
Thankyou for in detail tutorial, do you use X-Clamp after reflow or replace them with screw, as per my experience with x-clamp even good reflow won't last longer, Also have you notice increase in GPU temperature after reflow ?

Hi. Your bottom heat may not be hot enough. It should be around 170-180c with just the bottom heater on before even applying the top heat. And you are using kingbo flux?

hey sharky quick question.. if i change my kv from my retail kv info to different kv info on my modded side, on my retail dual nand side, is it safe to go on xbox live? could my xbl acct get banned?
You paid for a dual nand, and dont even know the answer to that? If you change the kv on the RGH nand, you can still play on the retail nand. Just make sure your retail KV isnt on your rgh nand
You want to flash a banned kv to your RGH side so that it does not get the retail Side banned. You don't want to do anything with your retail kv. Delete it off of you computer so that you don't mistake it from a different one and end up getting it banned.

allegedly that's a USB short. If it boots with no controllers connected you'll need to look at all the ports and make sure nothing is broken. Did people not know about bumpgate back in 2019?
Idk know much but, if a Xbox 360 slim won't turn on it needs reballing, right?

Hey Sharky I have this falcon that takes 37 seconds to throw 0022 error on boot, can it be a faulty GPU? The nand on it is stock.
RockTouching yes most Likely it's a bad gpu. But you could try reflowing it to see if it fixes it.
I thought 0022 is cpu related
I think you might have tired doing RGH and then it start giving 0022, cause it happened when during RGH CPU gets damaged
