Been following you for a long time. Especially with the hiking and lawn mower repairs. Excellent video. Question. How many watts are they pulling, and how much does that work out in kwh on your electric bill? Like whats your running cost aside from amortizing the cost of the rigs? I guess you reclaim some of the heat to heat house 6 months out the year or something.
Hi ninja! First off, I appreciate your support, thank you! Each hp omen is pulling 314 watts each, 628 watts total or .628kw. You are correct that I had to factor electrical costs into the math to determine my break even and future profits. It costs me a little under $2 a day in electricity to run my two hp omens. Good point about reclaiming the heat as well, that’s actually part of the reason I have the two hp omens located in two different spots during the colder/winter weather to reject heat to the space/provide some heat to the space. Thanks again for watching!
So I have a 3090 and I use my gaming pc to game quite a bit. But if I only mine when I sleep/not using pc will I still be able to make some money? Or is it something that you have to do 24/7. I’m also concerned I would damage the pc by gaming and mining. Any thoughts? Great vid btw
Hi Josh. Mining is not something you need to do full time to make money. For me for example, if I were to mine only part of the day, as long as I was making more than $2 per day (electrical costs) per 3090, I’m making money. My suggestion for you would be to mine when you’re not doing other things on your pc, it’s very easy to set up, let your computer generate income for you. Thanks for watching!
Hi Vassilios. It can be destroyed if you over heat it. The way I have my settings, I'm not overheating my card so I'm good to go. I have mined almost an entire ether so far.

Defi is another great avenue in crypto. Higher risk but much higher reward
I would love to see more videos on crypto! I myself just got into cryptocurrency back in August 2021 and started mining a month ago.
