- Soup in the summer? Yes! There are so many wonderful fresh vegetables available in the summertime and this light, delicious soup features two of my favorites. This versatile soup can be also served hot, room temperature or even chilled, perfect with a drizzle of fresh pesto. Buon Gusto!! #LidiasRecipes #LidiasItaly #LidiasKitchen #LidiaBastianich #ItalianFood #FromLidiasTableToYours #LidiasSoundtrack

The soup without the pesto and cheese looks wonderful for those of us under the weather.. I am a terminal cancer patient and do not have much appetite but that looks delicious....
A delightful healthful soup. My Grandma would have approved as she did not waste anything - cobs, etc. Beautiful windowsill herbs & veggies in upcycled cans as well. Thank you, Lidia. Blessings and love to you and family. Sherry 🥰 🙏 💞 🌽
Yes !!!!!
Soup and Chowders and stews are great in the Summer especially on the Shore when the Nights get cool and the Fog rolls in.
A delicious summer soup thank you Lidia looks like a french soup au pistou or minestrone/ Croatian Manestra
You look Simply gorgeous with your peach shirt. Also, I appreciate you showing us to learn recycling and planting herbs in our own kitchens. Moreover, soup is clean, lught, healthy, and delicious. God Bless you Lidia. MABUHAY FROM THE PHILIPPINES!
I love her style of cooking and talking. I have been a fan of yours for a long time. I just love you ❤
Thank you so much!
@@LidiaBastianich Thank you, you deserve all the appreciation 😍😍
Love this light soup. I would add some white beans for a substance meal to fill my belly. 😋
I did too, as well as 3 fresh campari tomatoes, a handful of alphabet pasta instead of rice and a pat of butter to finish
Great idea!
Love soup,thanks Lida
Never thought about using the corn cobs for flavorings, good tip.
love your style of teaching us how to make this - looks delicious
Thank you for the video. Personally I can eat soup, stew & ramen all year long
This sounds fantastic! I’ve been looking for a spring/summer soup other than a gazpacho. I’ve worked very hard and lost about 130 lbs over the last 3 years by focusing on balanced nutrition rather than a particular diet. I have rare health issues and I take a lot of medications. My tastebuds are often messed up and it’s hit or miss if I am able to tolerate different meats. This minestrone sounds perfect!!! Thank you so much!!
WOW! Never heard of putting corn cobs!
Yummy yummy🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
When I make soup sometimes, I let the cobs cool off some and I squeeze cobs to get the juice out. Don't won't to loose flavor.
Never put stones in the bottom of a pot. Put drainage holes instead.
PLEASE, it's roseMARY not roseMARIE! Thanks. Love your recipes. 😊
Miss Lidia. Is a cheese and spicy girl like me. Love her and PBS.
