Are you using png for custom crosshair? Because through cfg other than dot every custom crosshair for me changes for shiv and Abrams. 😢😢So I started using a dot now . If you achieved this crosshair through cfg please share the same

Mystic slow also adds a fire rate debuff on the enemy and the slow stacks so you just get even easier to hit more knives on. In heated combat, decay + mystic slow will make sure chasing someone is easy. You already have rapid recharge, but I do agree that superior cooldown would be the next thing to buy after that.
No ammo scavenger? Makes the knives grossly oppressive for laning. I tweaked the Hydration build a bit as well--the mobility on that one is way too poor. Haven't played with it enough yet, feels like it drops off a lot toward the end. Infinitely stronger early game but have done better overall so far w/ gun build.
I've had the opposite experience, I used to run Gun Shiv a lot and in higher MMR games I felt like you got shut down a lot, with knife build I can pick my fights better and I don't feel like I have to be inside of the fight to be useful, also I don't feel the need for ammo scav early on as I think that Shivs gun potential is much higher early - mid game, the way I see it is the playstyle goes like this: Early - Mid game - You play him like gun Mid - Late game - You play the knife playstyle
I will concede I'm playing at lower MMR than you, and out of my group I'm having to drive initiating and sustaining more than I'd like. Too many games that run long and slide into deathball fights with not enough teammates staying in to pull pressure off me. When it gets to that point sometimes it feels like I'm forced to hang back and sling knives which doesn't accomplish much. Overall though, knives+decay keeping rage up makes the Shiv tempo so much nicer for most of the game.
