Sir Alastair Cook is one of England's greatest batsmen. I have seen many of his innings. His batting fascinates me a lot especially in Test cricket. He had scored a century in his debut Test against us, that too the match I had seen. When the Indian team toured England in 2011, Alastair Cook played a fascinating innings of 294 runs against India in the third test match in Birmingham, I was happy to see that innings but it was also a regret That with the help of this innings England had won that Test. I wanted the Indian team to win that tour under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni but it could not happen. Well never mind Alastair Cook was a good pure Test batsman. His contribution to England cricket can never be forgotten.

I don't understand this. Why people of Sub continent always praise players who score runs in our conditions and blame for their batsmen who score in Asian conditions. Literally our players score runs in home conditions and struggling against spin in asia. Our fast bowlers take so many wickets in these conditions coz it's pace friendly. But they don't take that much wickets in Asia. Yet sub continent fans don't blame em lol. They humiliate their players who score well in their own conditions but who can't score in our conditions.
