Legit the best time of the year! Your videos just keep getting better Jordan. Really hoping the drought doesn’t kill our waterfowling in KS this year. When I can’t get out I just look for videos from you!
Down here in South Florida we don't have the hunting we had years ago they have BANNED SHOOTING ALMOST EVERYWHERE due to homes being built everywhere. When we could and they were flying I would try an shoot doubles. Singles are easy but when you get a flock thats when the fun begins trying to stay on one then two. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!!!!!!!
As the saying goes "love your work".Well done on getting the bag full. A good number of birds about despite the dry conditions. Not sure if it will work but I have put a couple of marks on the barrel for my shotkam and theory being that it will be all lined up the next time I use it.
Wow that was some awesome shooting. I’ve only done that once since I started dove hunting 40 years ago. I did it once by getting off the field and catching the birds coming from a large group of pine trees to the field. They had not turned on the after burners and was flying thru a gap following a short tree line to the sunflower field.
Nice work friend. Always enjoy these dove videos. Watching how you lead the birds and just being out there in your kneck of the woods is fun. Keep up the great work 👍👍
Awesome field to hunt, I got 5 dove this afternoon in my backyard with .177 air rifle! going to put em in the freezer with the rest and make 30-40 poppers in a week or so! So tasty
We dove hunt in South-Western Arizona and South-Eastern California, instead of grain fields we are hunting around water sources. Shots are generally REALY close, inside 25 yards, so running lead #8 or 9 shot in Arizona and 6 or 7 Steel in California. I’m running an A400 Xplor in 28ga, fast swinging and heck on birds
Got my very first dove today. Can you do a video on shooting? Or narrate some videos with shooting tips, Like how much you lead and does your bead sit under the path of the bird or in the path of the bird? You could even use old footage I’m sure a lot of your viewers would really appreciate it. I hunt public land and I’m lucky to see 15 birds in a session let alone get the chance to shoot at 15. It’s only my second season hunting dove last year was really slow down here in Texas (Dallas area) I don’t think I even saw 15 doves last year I think I only had 2 shot opportunities if I remember correctly. I probably need to scout more… thanks again for your videos keep ‘en coming.
Many years ago a buddy and I were pass shooting doves. He was a good shot and dropped a ton of birds but he wouldn't go out and get 'em - afraid of rattlesnakes. He showed me where they fell and I waded out into the weeds to get 'em. They were easy to find but they were all sparrow hawks.
I was watching one of the Bobby guy film videos of him hunting in his backyard and he said the limit where he lives is only 8. so those of us who gets to harvest 15 at a time are lucky or we can just look at it as unlucky for him. can't wait to see more videos.
@@JordansHarvest then either I misunderstood something or maybe he only had eight more to shoot for that day but I can swear on anything he said eight but obviously if he's only 10 miles down the road from you then it's going to be the same as you. I would love to see some videos of you two together doing some dove hunting have a good one.
Your lucky to have a brother to hunt with, couldn’t pay my brother to get out in the field 😂 gonna keep an eye on those sub numbers, watch them pile up over the next few months 🤞🏻
The most heart-warming thing about hunting doves and other game with a gun is having a well-trained, loyal and loving K9 companion afield. The hunting dog is important for the conservation of game and the dog can even let you know if birds are coming in case you did not see them of hear them yourself. I am troubled by all these dove hunting videos I see this day and age without the employment or retrieving dogs afield.
I’m from southern Ohio and we went on a hunt this morning and all together shot 47 birds for a 5 man hunt and went thru 100 shells a person lol but it was fun
Good hunt man 👊 I found the doves yesterday. 21 rounds later I realized I'm a terrible shot. Don't know if I'm leading too much or not enough. The was goes behind them so maybe I need to lead more lol or buy a shotkam 😁 keep up the awesome videos!
Nice shootin Tex! Hey, where did your brother get the extended butt pads and/or shims to lengthen the pull on the little 1187? My Son has outgrown his but it is a blast to shoot!
M8 cheers on your success , positive thinking lead to a great hunt. Question , when you said this bird is dead dead , did you mean ded dead ? Keep up the good work. God bless y'all.
I hunted on Thursday (1st) and Saturday I only shot 5 times on Saturday killed 0 on 1st killed 6 so this season hasn’t been great but then again it could be way worse. Nobody I know has seen many birds this year 🤔
Great videos really enjoy watching him sorry I did not subscribe earlier. I am on the subscribed group now. I Think it’s time for you to get a dog. Not that you really need it but it would just be cool to watch your videos with a pup that grows up with you and we get to watch it on videos. Good work buddy

Great hunting Jordan! Good see there's doves somewhere.
15 for 15 is SUPER impressive, I went last week as well and got 7 in 23 shots and thought I did pretty good! Good shooting and great video!

Went out last Thursday and Saturday. Scratched my limit out both days by 10am plus some bonus pigeons. I love dove season
In Hawaii the daily bag limit for barred dove is 20 & spotted dove is 10 so you can shoot 30 doves per day.

Me too!!!

Great shooting Jordan, time for a 410 dove hunt video

Show video of cleaning them n maybe grilling them or something like that, but love your video great content

used to be 12 here in TX

Nice shooting man I have never been able to get 15 in 15 shots lol best I've done is 17 shots for a limit I think.
Thanks!
17 is still way above the average!
Hi I would really appreciate it if you would let me know if any good dove hunting spots in Kansas
Im in Kansas! So yes, there are good spots
How many times did bro flag you..
What kink of gauge is that shoutgun
12ga
Scouting this yr so far has been ok. No large numbers yet around me except on the edge of town. Pigeon numbers low
I’ve been seeing pretty good dove numbers so far this year! Hopefully the migration treats you well!

1 1/8oz 7.5 shot
In whatever Walmart carried at the time
