This Land Rover did look better afterwards, a real plus point of detailing a vehicle of this type is that, the possibility of installing any swirls or marring is virtually eliminated, also anything can be improved given the time and effort, great video❤️.
Thank you. I knew it wasn't possible to make it look great but hoping the purpose of this video will help others feel less bad about not being able to achieve perfection 👌

If you want an old series landrover with the original faded paint on then wash of with warm water if give it and oil wash. Clean motor oil on a rag not to much then wipe over with another rag. Brings the colour back out and looks great especially on the old bronze green.
Good advice there at the end. Most people starting off think they are going to be doing high end cars every day when in reality you have to do what's put in front of you. I did a defender last week, had 5 dogs in it shaking mud off themselves everywhere. It was hard work and not exactly pleasant to do the interior and it didnt come up showroom condition but it paid good money. The question we all want answered though is where do you get those skin tight black pants from?
Good job Dave, so it’s no garage queen but still looked much better clean especially good to clean the mud off the chassis and wheel arches. I love Yum Interior, cleans really well and smells fantastic. Definitely my favourite interior cleaner for more expensive cars.
Thanks for the video Dave. No step paint correction, clay bar and ceramic coat on that one eh 🤣.As you rightly pointed out it doesn't matter what vehicle you clean be it a Lada or a Lamborghini. As long as the customer doesn't have unrealistic expectations.
Most thing's can feel impossible but there only a challenge that needs a bit of thought. True it was never going to be showroom condition But you just proved that the end result was perfect.👍
Unless it’s a cherished number I reckon this an early 2A which has had series three wings grill bulkhead chucked on it. At least it’s easier to see what needs welding now.
Good job considering and some very valid points, 8 out 10 vehicles I do are unbelievably bad, i don't mind the hard graft but it's trying to educate people it can't be done in a short amount of time.
So satyafying video 😁 I really like how clean the tyres are, what did you use at the end of the video? I checked the description but I don't see it or maybe I am.blind :)
I do not believe some of the links in this video are of the equipment that you used ie. pressure washer ? In the video it was yellow but in the link it is grey ?
default upload info dude. My main pressure washer is a karcker xpert 7125. the k7 was being used for a review as i test pressure washers for a living. Hope that clears that up
Hello Dave from Australia ;) Well it is better but the weight saving with all that rust blasted away was worth it 😂 In the heat with black jeans on 😁😁😁 Hope you didn't scratch yourself on it as you would need a tetanus injection or two 😁😁 also why was the 1st thing that came to mind was the owner looking like the owner in Shawn the Sheep 😂😂😂 good to see you smiling.. cheers.
This ain't close to being wrecked! They have the pov Africa driving videos with one like this. Thing is completely worn basically metal shell with an engine, but keeps driving. Great vehicles very tough
Sorry didn't tell people. Just experiment Im trying as people tend to leave the video when they know when the end is meaning video doesn't always do well so trying a new idea
Old video explained over and over and over again in comments. I did voiceover very late at night and lack of concentration and didn't realise till after it went out. Jesus Christ
I laughed so hard at the snow foam🤣🤣 addicted🤣🤣. Glad you enjoyed yourself
thank you 🙏
Perfect valet as they say you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Great video again, appreciate it.
Thanks my friend

Love it ! For future shes a series 3 not a degender :)
I know was a brain fart moment lol
It was a pleasure to see your smile. Thank you for making these relaxing and 'positive-vibe-ish' videos. Much appreciated 😉😜.
Thanks very much 😁🙏

Thank you mate appreciate it
Great vid Dave. Such a good job you managed to change the colour! Its been years since I had to wash rust!
Lol I saw it and said to my mate I have to clean it 😂

You nailed this Dave! Great fun watching it and the car has definitely turned out better mate!

Absolutely Brilliant! Love these videos and cant wait for the next one :)
Cheers NIC not sure this style video suits my channel but may do a few like this to mix it up
Good job Dave, so it’s no garage queen but still looked much better clean especially good to clean the mud off the chassis and wheel arches. I love Yum Interior, cleans really well and smells fantastic. Definitely my favourite interior cleaner for more expensive cars.
Thanks mate. Yum interior is definitely special for those rare cars

Thanks Karl, was hoping to get this sort of feedback as I want to help valeters starting out realise that they can't always achieve perfection 👌
Really nice job Dave, you make my day.....!!!!!
Thank you for watching 🙏😁
Another great job Dave.
Thank You it was no miracle but we knew that just thought id film another random car lol
Lovely old car - entertaining video - thanks
Thanks Griff 🙏
I ♥️ that car or truck what ever it is 😁👍🏿 Awesome job Dave

Thanks Dad. Just thought I'd try filming something different and in a different style. Back to being stupid soon lol
@@epicautomotivedetailing It was a good video we enjoyed it.
Hope it started.... looks great. 👍
Yes it started perfect unlike the new land rovers lol
Could have easily been an owner of a super car testing you a as person or your business, great job as always.
Was just a good friend who said f### it go nuts lol 😂
Satisfying❤🌍
Nice work!
Land Rover Defender - the only car you can wash value out off 😂😂
Do miss my old V8 Landy
It's definitely love hate with Landrovers lol
Nice job, well done
Thanks Mate appreciate it
Another great video Dave keep them coming, thought you could have least put some ceramic protection on it lol 😂
I did have another client with a fully restored one in same colour but couldnt get footage in time but would of been great
Hello Dave, how it was before and after its alot cleaner.just doing the tyres transforms the car after the clean.brillant work.
Thanks Steven 🙏
Good job on the old Landy Dave , plenty of patina on this one 👍
Thanks Mark 🙏

Yea Boi, Noice One Dave! 👌🏻🤩👍🏻
Thanks mate
You should do a compilation of your best rants, lol
I would but I did that once before and people soon unsubscribed lol
@@epicautomotivedetailing haha. Maybe a separate channel - Dave's Detailing Dilemmas - only joking.
Different kind of clean, but still a nice landy,(remmember them AA stickers on the window)😎
Thanks Paul. Just thought I'd go for something different before I reveal the new content
@@epicautomotivedetailing defo different dave, great vid as always 👍
You made a great job of that, love the gentle way you clean the interior, great video keep them coming 😎🤗
Thank you very much. I have 22 video's filmed and getting uploaded so plenty of videos coming

Yeah customers really need to understand and I think that's half the battle
I tell my clients "valeting isn't an antidote for neglect"
@@MrHoarses well said 👏
Hi mate , have you ever tried auto smart products ? If so what was your opinion of them ?
Yes mate my first 20+ videos feature them
@@epicautomotivedetailing legend IL give them a watch . My friend has a rep putting us some packages together to start up and wasn't to sure
I'm surprised you didn't use snow foam inside the cab.
Was going to but I got some other cars at my farm I may just do for a laugh
So satyafying video 😁 I really like how clean the tyres are, what did you use at the end of the video? I checked the description but I don't see it or maybe I am.blind :)
Thank you this was bear tyre gel . Called drifter it is. 👌
@@epicautomotivedetailing thank you :)
You took a risk with that Dave. It was only the dirt holding it together.
It's solid mate 👌
Have you ever reviewed a Titan pressure washer from screwfix
Not yet but yes there is one coming
Some say you cant polish a turd... I'd tend to agree. 😉😂
Some good tips though, especially use your older gear on these sort of jobs.
Mandy the Landy would of heard that lol. It's still a million times more reliable than the new ones mind you 🚗
@@epicautomotivedetailing 😂
Absolutely no arguments over the reliability!
This isn't a Defender. It's a Series III Land Rover.
I know I made a mistake. It's what happens when you work all day and record audio in the middle of the night. Thanks for pointing the error of my ways
@@epicautomotivedetailing that's alright.
My goodness....so much chemistry for such a rusty car....I would try to work with less chemistry and more with my hands.
Doesnt really matter the client couldnt care less about the car. he said i could do whatever i wanted :)
deeply upset that you called it a defender :P
I think it's a series 3 land rover but had no idea so called it a defender 😅
Superbe video damage qu il n a pas de commentaire en Francais

"Land rover defender"
*its a Series III lol*
Yes read the comments. I said I didn't know what it was so called it that because I was too lazy to do my research lol
@@epicautomotivedetailing i wasn't trying to be condicending lol, some say the series iii was the beginning of the modern defender 90 and 110 though
@@lukedavis436 na it's cool mate I just delete that bit lol
Rightly or wrongly even the factory refer to them all as Defenders.
@@onetonlandrover weird i thought the defender was given to the nineties and Onetens
