  • All city is sick. If you guys see this, I'm fully down to be an all city simp if you send me a super pro set up for gravel.
    But for real, this is my track bike. I've had it for not that long but ride it all the time and absolutely love it. The all city big block is a fixed gear bike with track geo but fits bigger tires (not that big just 32s) and has a water bottle mount plus drilled for brakes. So pretty street oriented track bike. It's iconic in my opinion and you will not regret getting this thing unless you don't like track geo, steel, or want to set up specifically like a tracklocross bike with big tires. Shout out to ‪@TerryB‬ for always making track bikes looks so fun. Shout out to all city for making sick bikes at pretty good prices.

    Love mine. I've been riding it for almost 10 years, from time to time I think about putting together a new bike but never end up doing it because I couldn't see myself riding anything else..

    Also loved how, you chose to wrap your bars. On my Brakeless fixed I Also always choose to wrap my wide MTB bar instead of using grips, it looks more classy imo and lets me add an accent color with bar ends

    Nice bike! I have a 58cm 2021 big block and i love it! Took it on many long rides, all stock like you. The cog did eventually come off the rear hub though, it was on a descent, was glad i had a front brake.

    Btw those pedals look badass with the bike and drivetrain. Love how the silver metal nubs contrast with the black pedals and matches the cranks and chainring

    I have the 2020 All-City Big Block. I kept it stock, but shortened the handle bar length. It rides as smooth as day 1, and remains my favorite bike. It's pretty comfortable despite the aggressive geometry.

      Is this bike similar in aggressiveness as trek fx series ?

    My other bike is similar to yours with a long head tube as well, but I use it as a single-speed gravel bike. I guess I am lucky to own this bike because the tubing is heat-treated Chromoly steel and I only paid about £300 for a complete brand-new bike. Shame I cannot post a pick.

    Alex Rims make some pretty legit BMX rims. They might be a bit heavy for a road bike, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're bulletproof.

    I love my Big Block. It was a knife to the chest to hear All City is going defunct in the next couple of years. I’ve been considering getting a backup BB frame just in case something happens to my current one.

    Hmm 🤔, Been looking into it ,799 in the website but idk if lbs would match the price if you find one available

    • @imbikinghere
      @imbikinghere  Год назад +1

      I think a shop that carries qbp would price match. 799 is a great deal IMO.

    Hello! Where can I buy the same fork as it is not available anywhere. I have a vintage Raleigh Technium 26" frame that I modified to 28" myself and this fork model (1") is the only one I like!

    • @imbikinghere
      @imbikinghere  7 месяцев назад

      I have seen the big block fork listed on the all city website. You could check that out but tbh I think I'd be tempted to grab a whiskey fork if I was buying a new one

    • @djino-xn3fc
      @djino-xn3fc 7 месяцев назад

      I don't see anywhere on this link selling a 1" bike fork like I'm looking for! I also didn't understand anything from what you wrote after the automatic translation I'm looking for! Hahaha. What's this whiskey? You mean it's better than a fork yes buy a bottle of whiskey?

    what is the weight? They don't list it on the site

    • @imbikinghere
      @imbikinghere  3 месяца назад

      Sorry I haven't actually weighed it, but I would estimate it to be very close to the 19.5-20 lb mark as built. Weight/ stiffness is about perfect IMO

    I'm 6'2 but my stand over height and arm:leg ratio is weird so I need to ride a 60-62cm, with a short stem

    • @phucle5172
      @phucle5172 10 месяцев назад

      Is it possible that you to go for a smaller frame but with a longer stem?

    • @pineapplej7310
      @pineapplej7310 10 месяцев назад

      @@phucle5172 I don't like doing that bc of the riding position, too forward and low

    What is your inseam? Trying to figure out the fit. The 58 cm has a 33 inch stand over according to the site. Go hogs!!

    • @robme3660
      @robme3660 10 месяцев назад +1

      I own the 2020 release. I got the 52. It's the equivalent of a 55 in most bikes. I'm 5'10", with long arms, and a 32.5" inseam. I'm so glad I didn't go with the 55. If you're in between sizes, go smaller.

    • @imbikinghere
      @imbikinghere  7 месяцев назад

      Hey sorry for the later reply. My inseam is about 33.5 inches and have no issues. As the previous comment said, I usually like to go for the smaller frame size given that's also going to likely feel more aggressive.

    What gear ratio are you running ?

    • @imbikinghere
      @imbikinghere  Месяц назад

      Running 46-17 which is a bit more spinny than I want often. But being in a mountainous foothill area, it's a good compromise.
