    You've helped me learn that plants are individuals. Care must include light, watering, soil and humidity. When I started I lost a lot of plants because I JUST DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE PLANTS WERE ASKING FOR!!! Its rewarding to watch my children grow. Love your channel.

    • @TheJungleHaven
      @TheJungleHaven  2 года назад

      Thank you so much! I never used to think of them as individuals either and wondered why so many weren't happy a lot of the time. I agree, so much more rewarding when you know you can give them what they need 💚

    I've staked my small euphorbia for the same reason of it growing with a curve. I tend to rotate it a lot now to adjust towards the light, and that seems to have straightened mine out within its new growth. The base curve is just fun character!

    • @TheJungleHaven
      @TheJungleHaven  2 года назад

      Ah ok! I've tried turning mine too, but she's not budging. I quite enjoy the curve, I just worry that she'll end up toppling over 😂

    I’m brand new to house plants and have bought quite a few cuttings from Etsy to get my collection growing so I’ve loved seeing how your plants have grown from smaller plants. I’m waiting for my pink princess to arrive 💕 your Peperomia Frost is gorgeous too, sadly I’m not on instagram but would love to buy a cutting to propagate xx

I totally agree with you, its like you are taking care of your babies. 😍😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ People don't realise how much love and care can do to plants, I can relate to all that you are saying as I see my babies growing along with my little toddler as he loves plants too, 😊Could you please mention from where you usually get your plants or cuttings?.

    So love your collection, and your energy, so infectious. Been watching you for a bit now and love your honest and humble nature, yet very knowledgeable, and I greatly admire that combination.
    My collection, humble though it is, numbers 65. I've grown plants for over 25 years, but really when into high gear last winter, 2021.
    Since last year I have acquried lights, special substrate, and all the accoutrements, lighting, humidifier etc. Gardening seriously outdoors for years, I finally came to discover I could grow my woodland jungle indoors.
    Now I have become enamoured with Syngonium, and recently Peperomia, with their luscious big juicey leaves.
    Having only a North light with a Black Walnut right out my door in SW Ontario, Canada, in a small bachelor pad, my collection is modest. This year, the grand crazy growth ones have been my Neon Pothos I bought last spring, and the Monstera Adansonii my niece gave me this spring. Well, and we can't forget the Syngonium Strawberry Cream, from early summer last year, as it has just not stopped, just one leaf after another. Oh, and this crazy Alocasia Stringray that has just grown like a dang weed and god alone knows where its going to fit when it comes back in this fall, and can't forget the Alocasia Polly's that have morphed into 5 hardy specimens that keep pumping out pups.
    Build it, and they will grow. 😄
    Paula

    Hello gorgeous!! 😊 I absolutely LOVE watching all of your videos and seeing all of your amazingly beautiful plants! You have such a wonderful green thumb 💚 I was wondering if you had or could do some educational videos on soil and pot types for each plant. I noticed that all of your plants have a different soil type mix and some seem to thrive in clay pots vs. plastic pots. I personally really could use your wisdom and knowledge on this since that is what I am having the most issues with. Either the potting mix is incorrect and the plant wilts and dies, or the they don't like the pot I have potted them into. Please help!! 🙏🙏🙏😁❤❤❤

    I got my Pilea peperomioides several months ago as a small little plant from the grocery store. I almost killed it by over watering it within the first two weeks and had to use hydrogen peroxide to save it. But it is absolutely loving life now and the leaves are bigger than the palm of my hand! Hi I have watched your channel for about a year I have never added a comment on Insta' but thank you for all your content past and present I have a hoya Australis Lisa two leaf from etsy last year has now given me a new leaf but I feel I could be s better plant parent to her seeing your Lisa I am perplexed as to what I'm doing wrong 😟

    • @TheJungleHaven
      @TheJungleHaven  2 года назад +1

      That's so sweet of you, thank you! So with the hoya Australis I've had mine in fairly bright light (not direct sun) but lots of natural daylight, and with it being spring right now she's getting a lot of hours of it. I keep her leaves super clean and am currently fertilising with liquid gold leaf (LGL). Increasing the heat and humidity should help to speed things up too! Don't stress, I'm sure it's nothing you're doing wrong 💚
