How much can the device help a cardiologist to read the ECG to identify the SVT or aFIB?

If you do a whole 15 minutes reading while lying down, it will help the doctor to identify and get you further analysis

Can you just pick up the device and use it to record a session without the app? I was assuming that when you feel something wrong then you can pick this up to get a trace, but if you have to first boot the app and select the positioning, then the moment may have passed. For this purpose, the larger square one with the screen is probably better. (called checkme?)

Yes, you can just pick it up and you can read it back later from the gadget's stored history to the app or any subsequent apps/phones until you factory reset the gadget via the app. So if you don't reset the gadget, you can read it back later even if your phone is reset

It well worth the price, pocket size and easy to use. You need a bit more knowledge on EKG as the app will not give you diagnosis just regular/irregular hb.
