War arcs in anime are usually terrible but this one is not even close to be the best. Watching Luffy run for 100 episodes straight wasn't fun. And most of the strongest people didn't fight nor did they even use Haki. It was a mid arc...

Someone who appreciates all of these definitely loves it. War arcs Normally are boring? Bruh they show the real plot. Doffy's lines, admirals and their strength. Many many factors and emotions play around. Idk how you said it's mid after watching Whitebeard bruh

Now he doesn't have a choice in the matter, since time is running out. His crew cannot be retrieved before Ace is scheduled to be put to death. Though the danger is not immediately life threatening anymore, the spot he finds himself in is perhaps more difficult than the one he escaped from on Sabaody. Oda doesn't take his foot off the gas for any longer than it takes to shift into an even faster gear for awhile. We'll get to see what Dracule Mihawk calls the most formidable power in these waters.
