Rotting Christ writes about Mythos from all around the world (with a nearly perfect style), while Watain writes exclusively about the Current 218 (Temple of the Black Light / Anti-Cosmic Satanism). In any case, both are MAGNIFICENT bands... ;)

Yea a lot of gen x oldskool black metal elitists rip on them for violating black metal conventions, but the only reason this enrages them is out of jealousy...because they can’t deny that, however Watson creates their sound, it’s a pretty fucking amazing sound. Goebbels would approve of NS promoting bands like Der Stürmer, Burzum, Absurd, Goatmoon, etc, but generally speaking Satanic BM would be seen as "degenerate" or "too extreme" to be compatible with NS ideology, which promoted "pro-life" and "superhuman" ideals. They'd probably call the NS promoting bands "Berzerker Muzik" or some such, as it would seem very heavy for them and invoking the "barbarism in man". Just what I think.
