I have had the pleasure of skating this pool once....and for all who haven't, I can tell you this is one of the scariest things I have ever skated. Insane steep, and is way bigger in person. These guy make it look easy.
When I see all those old school guys skating up to this day in such a level, it makes me want skate for the rest of my life. I'm 43 and when I started skating in 1987 they were already professionals.
It says at the end of the video Chris Russel is 2nd and Cory Juneau is 3rd, but in this video Chris Russel is the 3rd last to skate and Cory Juneau is the 2nd last to skate. I think Cory was actually 2nd and they have made a mistake at the end of this video.

Interesting how all of the older skaters are pads and helmets, as they wore when they were in shows 20 and 30 years ago, but this current generation of skaters thinks it’s a good idea to replace pads and helmets with a pair of pants. The contest sponsors should be requiring they wear them as kids are watching and imitating what they see.
Don't just want it. Work for it. These guys have thousands of hours of practice before them. Years and years. It doesn't mean you can't do it tho. If you work hard enough, you can do anything you put your mind to. :)
