Also "Concerto in E Major, BWV 1043: II. Largo ma non tanto" should be "Concerto in D Minor for Two Voilins, BWV 1043: II. Largo ma non tanto". Please correct me if I am wrong. Also, report any additional errors and I will correct them! Lastly, I added track numbers and moved the credits to after the piece name/opus nr. for easier reading. PS: Thanks for Brilliant Classics for pinning this comment after only 3 hours! I also want to say that I don't know any distributor of classical music with such a complete and high-quality catalog! Keep it up!
Bach is a legend and the godfather of all classical music period.....Many professors tried hard to find something inaccurate or wrong of harmony or arrangement in his music but they could not . Simply, because he was a legend born musician. Any upload of his music is adorable for me.
J S Bach remains at the top of listener's delights, with no degradation of others at all. Bach remains so relevant, in a world of ever expanding repertoire, of content, of total possibility. His mastery is his, his influence superb, his peace and art seductively embracing to us all.
Hollands Boys Choir, Netherlands Bach Collegium, Pieter Jan Leusink - Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben, BWV 147: I. Coro. Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben -got to sing along...danke viel mals!!
I'm always amazed on how complex this melodies can be, I think that's I why I appreciate Bach's compositions because I know how difficult it is to play and to compose music like that.
MY FAVORITE MUSICIAN OF ALL TIME!! MY OPINION ONLY,HE HAD TO BE INFLUENCED BY HOLY SPIRIT..HIS STYLE TOO COMPLEX FOR THAT PERIOD OF TIME(NO COMPUTERS OR PLAYBACK RECORDINGS FOR CORRECTION)
Believe it or not, All the works we have from the Master, amount to only 175 or so hours!!!! It has been estimated, however, that at least 40% of it has been lost: that represents a precious amount of INCREDIBLE music when it comes down to it, when broken down into the individual lines of music (like, first viola, 2nd violin, etc.), it becomes much more impressive!! By comparison, Mozart wrote about 240 hours. Of all the major composers, Haydn probably takes the cake - about 340 hours!! Most of it is never performed, however, lol. Teleman probably also wrote a ton of stuff, but again, its not well known outside of certain specialized circles.
@@altareggo Quality over quantity though. E.g. George Gershwin is one of my favorite composers because he wrote beautiful music, but he didn't write much at all (if I'm not mistaken).
For me, only Mozart is in the same level as Bach. Bach has better pieces in general but because he lived 20 years more than Mozart and I think Mozart had the potential to became the greatest. When Mozart died, he was in his best moment as a composer, and probably would've composed so many good pieces (better than the one before) Also Bach lived before and influenced Mozart.

Origins of music unevidenced. Except it is gift to humanity from God the Creator. Music continues in heaven. Discontinues in hell. Jesus Christ came from heaven to earth for one purpose only - to die on cross for remissions of pre-existing sins of every single person and to resurrect. Jesus Christ providing forgiveness from pre-existing sins for every single person, salvation from eternity in hell and free entry to eternity in heaven for all who repent of sins in Jesus Christ. Other side of death is eternity. Eternity in hell. Or eternity in heaven through Jesus Christ. Penalty of pre-existing sins already paid by Jesus Christ on The Cross. Accept HIM. Be saved from eternal in hell. Enter heaven. Enjoy heavenly music. For free.

God bless you ! thank you so much
Something's wrong around 1:00:04 as this starts BBC 4 BWV 1049, third part Presto. It's beautiful!
There is no such thing as “top 50 Bach” . Bach is all top
Brilliant Classics have decided to contain, show, and virtually perform his top 50 tracks; those of which he's composed. They are not merely placing and comparing him to the rest of the other musicians.
Doesn't that mean that any list of 50 Bach compositions is top 50?
Totally agree!!!
The classically trained ear can easily discern Bach’s 50 greatest hits. However, I respect the point you are making.
Of course nothing or nobody is ALL top and the same goes voor this master composer.
Yourselves, Halidon and others are truly helping many of us all over the world at this unfathomable time. Thank you so much.
One of the best composers of all time, my favourite. His musical genius, humility and love for God inspire me more than any other composer.
What is wonderful of your words , You are inspired to be ...as music should enfold upon and inspire others. Feel and breath to create! Bravo! ♥
he is not one of the best. He is the Best
You write with a very thick english accent.

Note: There were some errors in the tracklist posted as a comment here by Brilliant Classics. Timestamps were wrong and some credits were missing or were incorrect.
Keep it up!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Amazing.
Thnx man
Finally! Don't get me wrong Brilliant Classics are... well... brilliant! Nevertheless, this little thing was pretty infuriating!
I am imagining that Bach is seeing me from heaven and blessing me to listening to his masterpieces.
What else I want in my life if a have the fantastic BACH's music?!!!

Excellent job! Thanks for compiling these masterpieces.
I'm always amazed on how complex this melodies can be, I think that's I why I appreciate Bach's compositions because I know how difficult it is to play and to compose music like that.

Il serait bien d'avoir des information au sujet de l'enregistrement: les musiciens qui jouent? Le titre des pièces etc. Merci je vous écoute souvent.
Can you do a top 50 video for Mahler please
challenge: listen all the pieces we have today that Bach composed ^^
Cool
For me, only Mozart is in the same level as Bach. Bach has better pieces in general but because he lived 20 years more than Mozart and I think Mozart had the potential to became the greatest. When Mozart died, he was in his best moment as a composer, and probably would've composed so many good pieces (better than the one before) Also Bach lived before and influenced Mozart.
巴赫的音乐确实牛笔,连外星人都说优美

For free.

Don't you realize that musical genius is white privilege that you can dance too? How dare you!!!!
The whole is the sum of its parts. What is the point of listening to "favorite" parts?
What's the point of being so ungrateful and miserable when this has made everyone else so happy and delighted?!?!
