We had a caravan back in the 70s at Bempton and went every weekend whilst the kids were preschool age, we were the 3rd or fourth on the old RAF sue owned by Michael and Sue Stainforth. We had two caravans as new ones came out. I so remember the foghorn going regularly whether a sea fret or fog depending on time of year. I would love to hear that nostalgic sound and wonder if it’s still operational. I’ve not managed to find the sound of the foghorn leghorn as we fondly called it. My family’s name was Frost but sadly we divorced, we had a little sausage dog called Heidi. Would love to hear from anyone who was around during that period. Annette Bates
