When you showed the Ralph Lauren photo.. I call that style Dark Academia... very much books, plaids, equestrian, brass. I love it! and diffidently little animal objects for table tops and shelves. I have a bronze walking rabbit with a bronze basket on his back that holds matches. Its on the mantel sitting on some books. Its so unique and always gets comments when someone visits. I love this haul as its so my style. All things I would love to own. I am so over every bloggers Hobby Lobby haul of worded signs and 3 tiered trays. This is style and personality.

I can't believe that alarm clock is vintage. Everyone had one in the 70's.
That was a gravy boat with attached spill plate so there’s no mess on tablecloth. Use it at Thanksgiving or Christmas or any holidays that you have gravy it’s very nice

The gravy boat is from Hutschenreuther, a very well known German manufacturer and some pieces are quite expensive.
Love the brown transferware, that look is so pretty as wall paper too brown and white.

Love the vanity items! My Grandma had a hand mirror like that and she would let me play dressup with her makeup, she had a powder and poof that I loved using. I don't know what powder she used but it had the most lovely scent, seeing the vanity items really brought back some memories! Thanks for sharing, love your items!

I have a set of white Bavarian china that looks like the pieces you've been collecting. My gravy boat looks just like the one you bought. The pieces all say "Bareuther" on the bottom. All say Bavaria, but some also say Germany. Don't know if they are the same pattern, but they definitely are similar. My grandmother bought my set almost 65 years ago....... Also, my mother used to call sugar spoons "sugar shells".

I love all the pieces, especially the oval print. Those are so cool when you find them, they are Victorian fashion plates. There was a magazine/book it was called "Godey's ladies fashions" that come out every so often and women would use the pictures to decorate with in their homes. For the home sewer they could make their own garments with inspiration from the book and keep up with the ongoing trends. Some of the books also had home making advice and recipes.

I just love watching your videos because you’re always pulling out something I have as well. The little poem books (I have 5 or 6), the Burgess books (have both of those and have even read the animal one), the photo albums (I have one as well). I love seeing someone your age loving the same things I do (I’m 63).

My favorites are the books, clock and dogs. I have some that belonged to my grandmother. I had a Baby Ben, It must have stopped worked and I threw it out. I'd never do that now.
Both of the children's cups are probably etched with the child's initials. They can't be seen with the tarnish. I have one from my oldest son, born in the early 1980's and he has it in his kitchen window and it looks just like those. The tarnish covers up the monogram.
I’ll have to double check the smaller one! The other one says champagne on the bottom so idk if that’s a child’s cup…I hope not! Lol thank you!

Hi, Danielle! I love the two tiny dog statues you went out and bought!! I have a small dog statue from my childhood that has very special memories for me, and every time I see one in a video, I have this idea of creating a shelf vignette of small dog figurines, with that certain one elevated (like on a vintage book).
I love the dresser jars, so pretty and the little mirror. Nice auction wins too...

Great finds! I have a few silver baby cups…one was my dads. 😊. Anyway, I put bottle brush trees in them at Christmas on my arched window that has a shelf. Chicks and itty bitty wooden eggs at Easter. You’ll do something amazing with them I’m sure. 😊. Thanks for sharing you’re things!

Lucky girl....your finds are precious...I do follow the person you suggested Meeker Home and that we look her up...yes I know she loves vintage , old, aged decore, style....ME TOO!...if it's kind a little too worn...I don't care I'll simply display it's best side an WAA-LAA looking forward to watching out for your finds...I live in So. California and the price of the things we see as treasures are priced $$$$$$ way too high plus not as special as what you and Meeker show.....still I've always loved shopping Thrift stores and rarely find the type of things you ladies find.....DARN.....byeeeee for now

You really found some wonderful treasures, Danielle! The frame that once was a mirror is stunning on its own. Really impressive finds. Oh, and the little shapely spoon I believe to be a jelly/preserves server. In the early day, they had a spoon and fork. and knife for every purpose.

something marked "germany" means it's made before ww2. after ww2, which ended in 1945, germany could no longer produce such items because the country was destroyed. your lack of knowledge about the items you are collecting and buying makes it difficult to watch. you would be so much more interesting and informative if you spent some time researching your buys and wish list items. the stuff you pick up/buy is not all that valuable. most of it could be found at a yard sale. educate yourself. after you played w/ your bangs for the hundredth time i could no longer watch.
I invite you to no longer watch then. It’s so simple to keep your mouth shut than to spew your negativity onto others. I’m sure you do it to lots of people, though. I’m sorry you are sad and miserable.
Loved your haul but your touching your hair continuously is very distracting.
I would suggest working on your own triggers for what’s distracting to you. Thanks though.
