I was at that trial. The announcer behaved strangely over the microphone. She shared too many personal details about her life, said an obscene expression, and make weird noises over the microphone. I had to report all that to the assistant supervisor of special events. You don’t swear over the microphone at a family event. The only time I spoke to the announcer was when I asked her where the bathroom was.
I'm sorry that you had that experience. The announcer was several different people over the course of the trial so i'm not sure which individual made the comments you were referring to, but I am sure they will keep it in mind the next time they were at the microphone. Hope you enjoyed your time at the event otherwise!
@@jordanm563 I won’t tell you the bad words she said, but the name of the announcer that day was the trails chair, Amanda Milliken. She remembers me asking where the washroom was. The big problem I had there is my learning ability. I learn visually, that means I can’t learn by listening to someone bantering over the microphone. To me, it felt like I entered a confusing university lecture. The assistant supervisor understands how I felt, she wasn’t happy at Milliken either. I may not want to return next year.
Go team Rock n"Roll !!!
Thank you!!
