God is so good! After taking guitar lessons 30+ years ago I picked up an old guitar so I could play worship in our rural town church, here in the California hills. Your "lessons" online have been the saving grace for me! ( And also those who are singing along 🤣)Thankyou thankyou thankyou and may the Lord continue to bless your worship to Him!!
Short video, but very impactful stuff. I definitely had this trouble and those drills are a good reminder. I’m gonna pass this on to a buddy who is struggling with strumming. There are some very seasoned instructors I’ve seen who don’t cover this well. Thanks. 👏🏻 🙏
Thank you, I've done a bunch of lessons before and never really thought about it. I think for the most part it comes naturally to change that angle, but when I was thinking about it a couple weeks back I wasn't actually sure... Keep up the good work. May the Lord bless you and keep you
@@GarrettNoganAcoustic I'm from the good 'ol RSA (South Africa) I love your videos, has helped me a lot. 6/8 timing used to be a stumbling block for me, but since watching your tutorial on Champion I've become really good at it. Thank you.
Thanks for the tip. Ive been playing for years & still absolutely struggle with strumming. My wrist tenses up, if my fingers are not tucked in they collide with strings & hinder my rythym, my arm moves position, pick moves around & need to adjust everything to compensate...are just some of problems I have In trying to combat the above I cant focus on the beat Will try some of these drills thanks
What do you have on the head of your guitar there I'm trying put together something that will work as a phone holder to read off to keep the neck in view.
