ONE PERSON BOUGHT ALL THESE FROM APPLE - After communicating with the eBay seller who was a friend of the original owner, these were all bought and owned by one person. Daniel had an enormous apple collection and bought like 20 of everything apple sold, random accessories, everything. Unfortunately he passed away which is why his collection was for sale, this is only a small part of it, he owned a lot. I have another enormous box that I bought separately from the same seller that includes more of Daniel's apple collection which I will open in a future video. I blurred his last name from the video. Thanks for watching & subscribing! ALL of these iPods have barely been used, the one that's in the worst condition is the homeless iPod Nano without it's original packaging which I suspect was separate from these iPods.
@@ChannelThing69 original price calculation? Haven't done that yet lol. I do plan on making another video of some sort on these ipods, at the very least on the big (3rd gen) iPod that didn't work. There was a lot I wanted to add to this video, such as my back and fourth with the eBay seller that would have added more context to how I was able to buy these but I feel that this video is long enough as it is lol. There's a point where you have to tell yourself the video is done or else you'll be working on one video for all of time
@@Kelson01 i did the calculations for you with and without inflation: with inflation $7213.62 (if devices were bought at launch). The 4 3rd gen 8GB nanos are 1204.53, the 3 iPod 3rd gen 40GB are 2550.18, the 1 iPod 3rd gen 30GB is 856.63, the 6 iPod nano 4th gen 16GB are 1721.79, and the 20GB iPod 2nd gen is 880.49. Original retail price $4485 (if devices were bought at release before they were discounted) The 4 3rd gen 8GB nanos are 796, the 3 iPod 3rd gen 40GB are 1497, the 1 iPod 3rd gen 30GB is 499, the 6 iPod nano 4th gen 16GB are 1194, and the 20GB iPod 2nd gen is 499.
What a treasure!! I’ve seen many big apple batches at eBay over the years, but no one like this with all those sealed and mint products. Ithink that those nanos were only sync to test if they worked and they sit it very well, and it’s a bless that they batteries are dead otherwise all of them could have black dots or broken screens, it could be “easily” replaced (more easy if the batteries would be swollen). I’ll be very anxious to see all those other apple products being opened specially one of those in maculated Isight cameras. Also it’s very sad seeing how apple decreased the amount of things and accessories included on its products, my very first 4 gen iPod came with lots of things, manuals, iTunes installer cd, FireWire cable and wall adapter, usb cable and so, even a protective bag, in other hand my latest iPhone only a usb c cable and nothing more, fortunately they incluidos the phone inside the box.
I don't think the broken hold switch on the nano was caused by the battery. If the battery had expanded, it would've pushed on the screen and made The Black Spot of Doom.
@@ChannelThing69 And the 2nd Gens, all the ones with slide-out internals all have that issue (including the Mini, but the clearances aren't nearly as tight in that one, and the battery is socketed)
Watching you with all these tech makes my inner child happy , I always had interest in old tech as well as retro techs too ; for someone from India where these weren't available or were only available to a few at a premium price , I feel joyous watching your channel ❤ ✨
IM SO SORRY BUT CAN I PLEASE HAVE A SILVER 3rd Gen Nano?? i’m collecting ipod nano’s and i am only missing a 3rd gen. please respond to my comment if so. i’ll give you my shipping info if you can send me one

That doesn't count the one random phone I only mentioned in the member video, that was $1,250 in 2006, about $2,000 inflation adjusted...
I can hear a wild aussie wondering if someones been in them
SOMEONES BEEN IN HERE
DANK PODS
Dude. Dankpods would be froffing at the mouth at this box 😂
Pretty cool, wonder what else that collector had in his collection 🤔
I really do wonder since apparently I came very late and all of it was gone months ago and this is what they didn't bother to list on eBay...

Yeah they could at least include a modern fast charger!
holy shit that's the holy grail
The plastic wrapped 3rd gens are awesome! Nice finds my man 🔥

The battery de swells if left alone for a while, I've seen it happen with every nano I've had with an expanded battery which is several
This guy deserves more attention
Thanks! :D
You should tell the RUclips algorithm 😭
Be careful with the batteries in the 4th gen nanos as they expand and explode if the batteries don’t work
Isn’t that happening to a lot of at least the first 5 generations of Nanos, not just the 4th Generation?
@ yes, but the 4th and 5th gn take the most damage from the expanding battery
@@ChannelThing69 And the 2nd Gens, all the ones with slide-out internals all have that issue (including the Mini, but the clearances aren't nearly as tight in that one, and the battery is socketed)
@FakeName2028 it's doomed to happen to all of them, however cases with the 6th and 7th gen aren't really widespread yet.
@@resolvanlemmy they don’t have slide out internals, so if the battery swells, it’s unlikely to break anything else or get stuck inside the device
